May 12th-13th
Arrests:
Occurred at 2:39 PM (5/12) – Harvard Street
Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival officers learned that the subject had first tried to return an item that was never purchased but was denied. The subject then continued to shop around the store placed multiple items within her purse. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting.
Occurred between 5:09 PM (5/12) and 5:15 PM (5/12) – Commonwealth Avenue
Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival officers learned that a male subject had been seen placing items into a bag without paying for them. An employee approached the subject and informed the police. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for shoplifting. During the arrest officers discovered several items and paraphernalia consistent with heroin use. The subject was additionally charged with possession of a Class A substance.
May 13th- May 16th
Arrests:
Occurred between 2:37 AM (5/14) and 4:03 AM (5/14) – Harvard Street
Officers conducted a traffic stop for a failed inspection sticker. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject did not have a proper Massachusetts license to operate. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for operating without a license.
Occurred at 4:29 PM (5/14) – Pleasant Street
Officers responded to a report of a restraining order violation. Upon arrival officers learned that the victim had a current restraining order against the male subject who had been calling and leaving voicemails on her cell phone. Officers responded to the male subject’s residence and the subject was subsequently placed under arrests for violating a court order.
Occurred between 6:35 PM (5/14) and 7:03 PM (5/14) – Chestnut Hill Avenue
Officers conducted a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker. Upon the traffic stop officers learned that the subject’s license to operate was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.
Burglary:
Occurred between 6:45 PM (5/13) and 10:38 PM (5/13) – St. Paul Street
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Upon arrival officers learned that a subject had entered the apartment through a window. Two laptops were missing from the apartment. There were no signs of forced entry or any damage. There was a similar instance two days later at a near by apartment.
Occurred between 8:30 PM (5/13) and 11:35 PM (5/13) – Marion Street
Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon investigation officers learned that there were signs of forced entry through the side door. Several items were missing from the apartment.
