April 30th - May 2nd

Graffiti

Occurred 12:55PM (4/30) – Washington St.

Police responded to a report of graffiti. Officers observed that the tag, which had been spotted earlier in the week, was now filled in with more detail and color. Police are following up on the case.

Fraud

Occurred between 12:05AM (2/11) and 3:39PM (5/1) – Cypress St.

Victim reported to police that a false bank account had been opened in his name. The victim contacted his bank, which provided a California driver’s license used to open the account. Police are following up on the case.

Malicious Damage

Occurred between 2:11PM (4/30) and 2:11AM (5/1) – Tappan St.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage. Officers observed the right window of the front entrance door to be shattered. There was nothing to indicate that the damage was caused in an attempt to enter the building. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

Occurred between 12:50AM and 2:05AM (4/30) – Egmont St.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victims stated that they had left to go out to eat and upon returning noticed their apartment was in dissary. Four laptop computers, a charger, an Ipod Touch, a backpack, and some jewelry were all found to be missing. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 8:00AM and 8:00PM (4/27) – Boylston St.

Victim reported to police that her credit cards had been stolen. The victim’s wallet and keys were stolen from the lunchroom of her workplace. Before reporting the incident to police, the victim received a call from a security guard stating her wallet and keys had been found. After retrieving her items, the victim noticed that her credit cards were gone. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred 5:00PM (4/29) and 3:00PM (4/30) – Beaconsfield Rd.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that 2 bicycles were stolen from her garage. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred 12:00PM (5/1) – Harvard St.

Victim reported to police that her wallet had been stolen out of her purse while studying at a local restaurant. A short while later, after the victim noticed that her wallet was missing, she also noticed an unauthorized charge made on her debit card. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 8:00PM (5/1) and 9:50AM (5/2) – Longwood Ave.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that during the night, her vehicle had been broken into and that her wallet was missing. The vehicle had been parked in a lot behind her apartment building. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 9:00PM (4/10) and 10:00AM (4/11) – Beacon St.

Victim reported to police that he had been the victim of larceny. The victim stated that his laptop computer was now missing after a party that was held at his apartment. Police are following up on the case.
