May 5th

Arrest

Occurred 3:54PM (5/5) – Cabot St.

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. The caller stated that he thought three males were soliciting. Upon identifying the males, officers discovered that one had a warrant and was subsequently arrested.

Occurred 7:44PM (5/5) – 1350 Beacon St.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. When officers asked the driver to step out of the vehicle, they witnessed him push a plastic bag in between the driver’s seat and the center console. After further investigation, officers discovered 2 types of pills as well as marijuana in the driver’s possession and he was subsequently arrested for possession of class B and class E drugs.

Indecent Exposure

Occurred 5:00PM (4/28) – Franklin St./Oakland Rd.

Police responded to a report of an indecent exposure. The victim stated that she was walking when a silver four door vehicle pulled up alongside her. The driver of the vehicle appeared to be naked from the waist down. The victim than ran down the street. The driver was described as a white male, 30-40 years old, wearing a winter hat, sunglasses, and a black t-shirt. Police are following up on the case.

Motor Vehicle Theft

Occurred 10:49PM (5/4) – Carlton St.

Police responded to a report of a stolen moped. The victim stated that she had chained her moped to a fence alongside a private lot. When the victim returned, the moped was missing. Police are following up on the case.

Burglary

Occurred 1:45PM (5/5) – Warren St.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering in progress. The victim stated that is employed by the homeowners and was upstairs vacuuming when she heard the dogs barking downstairs. When the victim went to check on the dogs, she observed a black male exit from a bedroom and flee the scene down a staircase. The witness provided a description of the suspect and officers immediately responded and began an intensive search. Soon after, officers stopped a male subject who fit the description of the suspect. After further investigation, the man was arrested for burglary.
