Oct. 26th

Arrest

Occurred 10:28 PM (10/26) – Boylston St.

While conducting traffic enforcement, police observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and executed a traffic stop. A query of the driver’s information revealed a revoked license status. Police subsequently placed the subject under arrest for driving after revocation.

Fraud

Occurred 11:03 AM (10/23) – Winthrop Rd.

Police responded to a report of fraudulent use of a debit card. Officers met with the victim who stated that upon speaking with his bank, he discovered his debit card had been used without his authorization. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM (10/26) – Village Way

Police responded to a report of a credit card fraud. The victim stated she was notified by her bank that someone in California had made an online purchase using her debit card number. Police are following up on the case.

Burglary

Occurred between 5:00 PM (10/22) and 5:55 PM (10/26) – Commonwealth Ave.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious white male in a local restaurant. A store employee stated that several days prior the same suspect was seen in the kitchen area of the restaurant. After he left that day, an employee discovered a large amount of his personal cash was missing from the store’s office. Police filed a report and are following up on the case.
