Sept. 14th

Arrest


Occurred 12:23 AM (9/14) – Hamilton Rd.


Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that when he looked out of his apartment window, he observed a male suspect stop and hunch down around his vehicle. Upon inspection, the victim discovered that the suspect had punctured and flattened all four of his vehicle’s tires. Police subsequently located the suspect and placed him under arrest for malicious damage to a motor vehicle.


Occurred between 12:50 PM and 12:57 PM (9/14) – Harvard St.


Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at a local store. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party, the store’s loss prevention officer, who stated that he observed a male subject place several items into his backpack and attempt to exit the store without paying. Officers subsequently located the suspect and placed him under arrest for shoplifting.


Occurred between 4:40 PM and 5:10 PM (9/14) – Hammond St. / Laurel Rd.


While conducting traffic enforcement, police observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and executed a traffic stop. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that her right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass. had been suspended. Officers subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after suspension.


Occurred 8:39 PM (9/14) – Commonwealth Ave.


Police observed a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed and executed a traffic stop. A query was conducted of the subject’s information which revealed a revoked license status. Officers subsequently placed the subject under arrest for operating after license revocation and further charged him with speeding.


Malicious Damage


Occurred between 10:00 AM (9/11) and 11:30 AM (9/13) – Penniman Rd.


Police responded to a report of a malicious damage. Officers met with the victim who stated that sometime while she was away during the weekend, an unknown suspect damaged her motor vehicle. Damage was done to her driver’s side door and rear passenger side door. Police are following up on the case.


Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle


Occurred between 4:45 and 6:40 PM (9/14) – Brookline Ave.


Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that his vehicle’s front passenger side window had been smashed. Items reported stolen include a Tom Tom GPS, pair of sunglasses, car charger, loose change, and duffel bag full of power tools. Police are following up on the case.
