Sept. 11th - Sept. 13th

Arrest


Occurred 8:53 AM (9/11) – Beacon St.


While patrolling, officers observed a motor vehicle operating with an invalid registration sticker and executed a traffic stop. Officers ran a query of the driver’s information and discovered that her Mass. driver’s license had been suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension and several civil motor vehicle offenses.


Occurred 2:04 PM (9/11) – Walnut St. / Warren St.


Officers conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle who was doing a “wheelie” on a public way. Upon running a license query, officers discovered that the operator did not have a motorcycle license or permit to operate in the state of Mass and executed a traffic stop. Police subsequently placed the operator under arrest for being not duly licensed and operating to endanger.


Occurred 11:21 AM (9/13) – Harvard St.


Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that his right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass. had been suspended. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after suspension and impeding the flow of traffic.


Larceny


Occurred 2:54 PM (9/12) – Beacon St.


Police responded to a report of a past larceny of a license plate. Officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that when she went to use her father’s vehicle, she discovered the rear license plate missing. She informed officers that she borrowed the vehicle from her father for a week and had been parking the vehicle in her garage. Police are following up on the case.


Occurred between 5:30 PM and 6:50 PM (9/12) – Pierce School


Police responded to a report of a past larceny. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated that his cell phone was stolen from a park bench in a local playground. The cell phone is described as a black Blackberry Curve. Police are following up on the case.


Occurred between 5:30 PM (9/12) and 8:00 AM (9/13) – Washington St.


Police responded to a report of a larceny. Officers met with the victim who stated that two of his family bikes had been stolen. The bikes were left unlocked and stored in the rear of his residence under the porch. One of the bikes is described as a blue and silver 27" Trek 7100 Hybrid and the other is a red Trek 7.2 FX Hybrid. Police are following up on the case.


Burglary


Occurred between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM (9/13) – Sheafe St.


Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering. The victim stated that when he came home, he discovered a large amount of loose change missing from his bedroom. Police believe the suspect gained entry through the front door apartment and will be conducting a follow-up investigation.


Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle


Occurred between 4:00 PM and 5:45 PM (9/13) – Station St.


Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that when she returned to her parked vehicle, she discovered her passenger side window smashed and green leather bag missing. The bag contained the victim’s clothing, sneakers, thumb drive, and cash. Police are following up on the case.
