May 18th - 19th

Arrest

Occurred 3:24PM (5/18) – Brookline Place

Police responded to a report of two male subjects harassing another male. Officers identified all parties involved and discovered that one of the subjects had a warrant and he was subsequently arrested.


Breaking and Entering and Larceny

Occurred between 7:30AM (5/17) and 6:08AM (5/18) – Bonad Rd.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that upon returning to his vehicle, he noticed that the passenger door was ajar. A GPS unit was found to be missing. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 7:00PM (5/17) and 8:43AM (5/18) – Alberta Rd.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that her vehicle had been broken into and a GPS unit and some change were taken. The car appeared to have been broken into with some sort of instrument. Officers discovered another vehicle that had been broken into. That victim was also missing a GPS unit and change. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 3:30PM (5/13) and 9:30AM (5/18) – Wallis Rd.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that a small gold pocket knife and some change were taken. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

Occurred 5:00PM (5/17) and 8:30AM (5/18) – Verndale St.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that her bicycle was stolen off of her front porch. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 10:45PM (5/17) and 7:50AM (5/18) – Commonwealth Ave.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that his restaurant had been broken into. Upon arriving on scene, officers observed that the cash register draws were scattered on the floor and that a safe was also open and empty. There appeared to be no forced entry. After further investigation, officers discovered that an employee who was closing up had left the door open intentionally so as to help an individual rob the store. The employee was subsequently arrested for larceny.

Occurred between 11:00PM (5/16) and 12:00PM (5/17) – Beacon St.

Victim reported to police that one of his dumpsters had been taken. The victim is the owner of a waste management company. Police are following up on the case.

Robbery

Occurred 4:28PM (5/18) – Brookline Place

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. The caller, a security guard, stated that a young male was sitting in the lobby because another person was following him around the area trying to fight him. Officers immediately located the suspect. Neither party would acknowledge why these events were happening or how the two knew each other. The same two parties had been involved in a harassment incident earlier that day. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for unarmed assault with intent to rob and possession of a class E drug.
