February 2nd

Arrest

  • Occurred 2:34AM (2/2) – Beacon St./Winchester St.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon a check of the operator’s information, it was discovered that his Massachusetts driver’s license was suspended. The operator was placed under arrest.

Larceny

  • Occurred 4:00PM (1/30) – Stearns Rd.

Police responded to a report of larceny. The victim stated that two packages were delivered to her and placed in the lobby of her building. When she went to retrieve them, both packages had been tampered with, and five items were missing. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred between 6:16PM and 10:50PM (1/31) – 477 Harvard St.

Police responded to a report of a past larceny at a local chain restaurant. The manager stated that an employee was suspected of altering tips on receipts for customers’ she had delivered to. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred between 8:00PM (2/1) and 8:00AM (2/2) – Newton St.

Victim reported that someone had stolen all four tires from his vehicle. The tires were taken sometime between when the victim parked his vehicle the night before and when he woke up in the morning. Police are following up on the case.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 8:05AM and 9:00AM (2/1) – 246 Wolcott Rd.

Victim reported to police that at the start of her school day, she placed her cell phone in her locker. A teacher heard the cell phone’s alarm going off from inside the locker, unlocked the locker door, and shut off the alarm. When the teacher later informed the victim, the victim returned to her locker to find her cell phone missing. Police are following up on the case.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 6:38PM and 8:40PM (2/2) – Amory St.

Police responded to a report of a past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that she had parked her vehicle on the street earlier that night and when she returned to her vehicle, the front passenger side window was smashed. A friend’s bag that had been located on the passenger’s seat was missing. Police are following up on the case.
