September 30th Police Reports

Burglary

  • Occurred 10:00AM (9/29) – Beacon St.

Victim reported that someone had stolen his gold chain from his desk drawer. Victim states that he suspects his neighbor could have taken the chain. Police will be following up on the case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 1:00PM (9/29) and 3:00PM (9/29) – Pleasant St/Freeman St

Victim reported that someone had stolen pills from his lunch box. Victim had placed the box in a temporary storage unit. There were no possible suspects at this time. Detectives will be following up on the case.

  • Occurred 12:00PM (9/25) – Harvard St.

Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from the trunk compartment of her motor scooter. Victim stated that she was at a coffee shop at the time. Victim was advised to cancel her credit cards.

  • Occurred between 12:00PM (9/28) and 3:00PM (9/30) – Boylston St.

Victim reported that her bike was stolen from the rear of her house. Victim stated that she searched for the bike and asked her roommates if they had used the bike. The bike is a turquoise colored mongoose mountain bike with a “U shaped” lock.

  • Occurred between 1:21AM (9/30) and 3:00AM (9/30) – 294 Harvard St.

Victim reported that someone had stolen her wallet from her purse while she was out running errands with her daughter. Victim stated that the purse was hanging off her daughter’s stroller. Victim is in process of canceling her credit/debit card.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 1:30PM (9/28) and 1:30PM (9/29) – 27 Francis St.

A principal of a local school contacted police in regards to having found four areas of the school that had been recently tagged with graffiti. Victim stated he is unsure of when the graffiti could have occurred. Photos were taken for evidence.

Revoked Registration

  • Occurred 5:30PM (9/30) – Longwood Av/Harvard St.

Subject was stopped by police after having failed at yielding for pedestrians who were actively crossing the street. Suspect was asked for his license and registration. A registration check came back as revoked. Police took the license plates and placed them into evidence. Suspect’s vehicle was sub sequentially towed.

Threat

  • Occurred between 6:00PM (9/29) and 7:00PM (9/29) – Ogden Rd.

Victim reported having received a threatening a voicemail from a former tenant. Police attempted to contact the suspect. Police left a message for the suspect in regards to how she will be summonsed to court for threats.
