July 6th Police Reports

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 7:30(7/3) and 8:29(7/6) – 1319 Beacon St.

Victim reported that the door handle to a Bank of America building had been broken off. Victim stated that he found the door handle wedged in the door jam to keep the door open. Police are following up on the case

Breaking and Entering of Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 12:00(7/2) and 9:00(7/5) – 262 Bonad Rd.

Victim reported three cases of eyeglasses were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. Victim reported that the cases contained twenty-five pairs of eyeglasses each. Police are following up on the case

Harassment

  • Occurred between 2:00(5/1) and 11:46(7/6) – 18 Alton Pl.

Victim reported being harassed by an ex-boyfriend. Victim reported that she had asked him to stop communicating with her but would not comply. Suspect refused to leave victim alone once police had advised him to do so. Suspect was placed under arrest after he was found breaking into victim’s apartment.

Burglary

  • Occurred 11:46(7/6) – 18 Alton Pl.

Victim found an unknown white male in his daughter’s apartment. Victim reported that he had found the foyer door unlocked and when knocking on his daughter’s door, it had swung open. Maintenance worker reported having found a key in the lock of a rear door. Suspect was arrested and charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony.

  • Occurred 1:51(7/6) – 112 Centre St.

Subject reported that his brother was missing a great deal of money from his bedroom dresser. Subject reported having known that the money was in a plastic bag when it was last seen. The victim had been advised to remove his property so that the apartment could be rented out, but having received no response the property was removed. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10:00(6/29) and 11:00(6/29) – 51 Upland Rd.

Victim reported having lost his cell phone. Victim reports that a construction worker, from the construction site across the street could possibly be in possession of his phone. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred between 10:00(7/1) and 5:10(7/6) – 55 Village Way

Victim reported his stolen license plate before having left out of town. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred 11:21(7/6) – 114 Davis Av. (#2)

Victim reported that a bartender had mistakenly given her a credit card that was not hers. Victim stated that she had went back to the bartender who told her that he must have mistakenly given her debit card to someone else. Victim checked her account and found three unknown purchases that had been made in the course of the past few hours. Police are following up on the case.

Fraud

  • Occurred between 9:00(6/29) and 6:00(6/29) – 19 Winchester St.

Victim reported identity theft once having been informed by her bank of a large sum of money that had been withdrawn from her account. Police are following up on the case.

Open and Gross

  • Occurred 4:00(6/30) – 678 Brookline Av.

Police were dispatched due to reports of a suspicious person in the area. Victim reported that the individual had exposed himself to her and a co-worker a week ago and was back again. Suspect was placed under arrest for Open and Gross Lewdness.
