July 21st Police Reports

Assault

  • Occurred 11:46AM (7/21) – 387 Washington St.

A student from the local school reported that a former student had waived a gun at the whole group of kids. The student stated that the suspect said he had a gun and was looking for weed. Police located the suspect and discovered that the gun in his possession was a BB gun with a painted black tip as disguise. The suspect was placed under arrest for Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a BB gun, carrying a Weapon on Campus, and Disturbing the Peace.

Breaking and Entering of Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 9:30PM (7/19) and 9:00AM (7/20) – 27 Ogden Rd.

Victim reported that her car had been broken into. Victim stated that the glove compartment had been left open and her son’s Nintendo DS system had been taken. Also missing was the carrying case for the system and all of the games. Police will follow up on the case.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 2:00PM (7/21) and 7:30PM (7/21) – 769 Boylston St.

Victim reported having arrived home and finding the front door smashed open. Victim stated that the locking mechanism had been broken from the frame of the door and found in the hallway. Police are following up on the case.

Fraud

  • Occurred 10:40AM (7/11) – 423 Walnut St.

Victim stated that she had posted items for sale on Craigslist that someone had contacted her for. The individual who had been interested had sent her a check that was greater then the amount expected. Victim was contacted by email to cash the check and send back the difference to a given address. Victim states that she did as instructed, but has yet to hear anything back from the individual.

  • Occurred between 12:01AM (6/27) and 4:01 (7/10) – 14 Warwick Rd.

Victim reported a series of unknown charges that had been made through the use of her credit card. Victim states that she had contacted the locations at which the purchases were made but she got little cooperation. Police will follow up on the case.

Graffiti

  • Occurred between 4:45PM (7/18) and 12:48AM (7/21) – 81 Green St.

Victim reported graffiti on the garage entrance of her home. Pictures were taken of the marks. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 9:00PM (7/18) and 10:00AM (7/21) – 1281 W Rox Pk.

Victim reported that money had been stolen from her business safe. Victim stated that the safe could only be opened by a key that all her employees had access to. Police are in process of investigating the scene.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred 9:48AM (7/21) – 15 Stearns Rd.

A worker at a local resident building had called police after observing a damaged window. Police observed the damaged and estimated that the window had sustained damage consistent with that of a BB or pellet gun. Police are following up on the case
