July 22nd Police Reports

Fraud

  • Occurred 11:17AM (7/22) – 1577 Beacon St.

Victim reported receiving calls from his bank in regards to a series of fraudulent checks that had been issued in his company’s name and address. Victim stated that the checks didn’t have the characteristics of his company and they had the wrong account number listed upon them. Victim closed his account. Copies of the checks that had been used will be submitted into evidence. Police are following up on the case.

Graffiti

  • Occurred 3:08PM (7/22) – 111 Harvard St.

Police observed graffiti on the wall located by the parking lot. Police will contact the property management to make them aware of the damage. Photos will be taken and placed into evidence.

  • Occurred 3:10PM (7/22) – 229 Harvard St.

Police observed graffiti marks on a wall located on the corner of Sewall Ave. Police will locate the property’s management. Photos were taken for evidence.

Indecent Exposure

  • Occurred 6:25PM (7/22) – Marion St/Park St.

Police responded to a local park in regards to a homeless man who was sitting naked on a bench. Suspect was surrounded by numerous empty bottles of alcohol. Police were made aware of a Default Warrant. Suspect was placed under arrest for the Default Warrant and Indecent Exposure.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 2:30AM (7/22) and 2:00PM (7/22) – 167 Salisbury Rd.

Victim reported theft of planters from near their porch. Victim stated having seen an unidentified female who started apologizing for the male that was with her. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred between 6:00PM (7/21) and 1:50PM (7/22) – 32 Salisbury Rd.

Victim reported that her planter had been stolen off her front door railing. Police are following up on the case.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 4:00PM (7/21) and 1:00PM (7/22) – 1784 Beacon St.

Victim reported that his business partner had vandalized and maliciously damaged the space they were going to use to start up their enterprise. Victim reported a series of items that he reported to been missing. Victim stated that he had contacted his partner who stated having removed her name off the business certificate. The scene was processed and photographed. Police will be following up on the case.
