October 8th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 3:15PM (10/07) and 6AM (10/08) - 10 Hawes Place

Victim reports that her vehicle’s passenger window had been smashed and 8 DVDs, $10 in quarters, an A/C adapter, and IPOD video cables were taken from the backseat. The collective value of these items is approximately $270.

Shoplifting

  • Occurred at 3:29PM (10/08)-302 Harvard Street

Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at The Children’s Place Store, an employee reported seeing two women placing items into their bags then sprint out of the store and flee in their vehicle. The first woman is described as a young black female approximately 5’6”- 5’8” with short brown hair last seen wearing blue jeans a gray jacket. The second female is described as an older black female medium build approximately 5’6” with died blonde wifflecut hair.

Fraud

  • Occurred at 12PM (10/01)- 32 Bartlett Cres

Victim reports wiring approximately $2000 to a fake real estate company’s bank account in hopes of securing a new apartment that he acquired on craigslist.
