Crime Report (6/28/07)

ARRESTS

  • Occurred at 6:02 a.m. (6/27/07)- 25 Washington Street

Gregory Joyce of Dorchester was arrested for a default warrant for failure to appear. Joyce was arrested while walking in the area of the above location.

BURGLARY

  • Between 7:00 p.m. (6/19) and 8:00 a.m. (6/20/07)- 193 Harvard Street

The manager of Laundry Express reported that a side room located within the laundry mat had been broken into. This particular room is where the money is kept. The side room door was damaged and broken, and the drawer that holds the cash box had been pried open. Approximately $250 in cash was taken.

B&E&L OF MOTOR VEHICLE

  • Occurred at 2:51 p.m. (6/27/07)- 167 Willard Road

The victim reported that loose change was missing from the center console of her motor vehicle. There was no damage to the vehicle, nor any evidence of forced entry. The victim stated that she could not remember whether or not the vehicle had been locked the night before.

  • Between 7:30 p.m. (6/25) and 5:30 a.m. (6/26)- 19 Hilltop Road

The victim reported that a digital tape recorded was taken from the center console of her motor vehicle. A laptop computer and digital camera were also removed from the cargo area. The vehicle had not been locked.
