Crime Report (6/2/07)

LARCENY

  • Between 9:30 p.m. (5/30/07) and 4:00 a.m. (5/31/07)- 133 Brook Street

At the above time and location, the victim reported that he had placed his laundry in the washing machine but when he returned he noticed his laundry was all over the laundry room. Some of the victim’s clothing was also missing. The room is located in the basement at 129 Brook Street, and is shared with the tenants of 133 Brook Street.

  • Between 5:45 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. (5/30/07)- 278 Harvard Street

The victim reported that her locked bicycle was stolen while she was at work. The lock was left on the ground and appeared to be in working order. The bike was described as a female frame, light blue in color, single speed, racing tires and regular handle bars.

BURGLARY

  • Between 5:30 p.m. (5/30/07) and 8:00 a.m. (5/31/07)- 822 Boylston St

The victim reported that a door leading into an office at the commercial establishment had been damaged. The door had been damaged in and around the area of the door frame near the locking mechanism. It appeared that an attempt was made to pry open the door. No items have been reported missing from the office.
