Crime Report (3/22/07)

ARRESTS

  • Occurred at 12:20 p.m. (3/21/07)- Brookline Avenue/Parkway Road

    Francis Langone was arrested for Possession of Class D Substance- Marijuana. The reporting officer had seen Langone drop and put out what had appeared to be a marijuana cigarette as he approached him. The officer could also smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the suspect’s person. Two large glassine bags of marijuana were discovered in Langone’s front pockets during a search for contraband.

  • Between 9:08 p.m. and 9:29 p.m. (3/21/07)- Webster Street/Beacon Street

    Angel Castro and Felito Sanchez were arrested for larceny over $250. The two suspects had stolen 114 various cosmetic items (total value $1128.08) from CVS, and 3 bottles of BioInfusion smoothing serum (total value $44.97) from Walgreen’s. Castro and Sanchez had been stopped while riding their bikes in an area that has recently had a rash of car breaks. Castro received additional charges for a Default Warrant and Furnishing a False Name.


GRAFFITI

  • Between 7:00 p.m. (3/17/07) and 12:00 p.m. (3/18/07)- Cameron Street

    Trucks and property belonging to Brookline Ice and Coal were damaged by graffiti. Four (4) trailers, two (2) trucks and one backhoe had numerous graffiti marks. The marks included “DK”, “MNPO”, and “SULK”.
