BURGLARY

Officers took a report of a burglary on Sewall Av.

REALTY SCAM

Officers took a report of realty listings being posted with a false phone number.

Tuesday, August 6

INTERNET SCAM

Officers took a report of an individual paying for products on Facebook Marketplace and then the seller cutting all contact with the buyer. 

FRAUD

Officers took a report of an individual learning that someone opened up an account with the unemployment office in their name.

Wednesday, August 7

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Beacon St.

ROBBERY

Officers took a report of a robbery on Atherton Rd. The individual took a package from a delivery person.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Officers took a report of a car being keyed on Eliot Cres Rd.

Thursday, August 8

FRAUD

Officers took a report of fraud on Webster Pl. The reporting party received a fraudulent text message claiming that purchases were being made with their card. The party received a call from someone claiming to be their bank, and the caller stated that all of the party's accounts needed to be closed. Several wire transfers were made from the reporting party's account after they had 'closed' the accounts.

LARCENY

Officers took a report of a larceny on Washington St.

Officers took a report of malicious damage to a car on St Paul St.

ID FRAUD

Officers took a report of a debit card fraudulently being taken out on Vernon St.

Saturday, August 10

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a shoplifting incident on Harvard St.

Sunday, August 11

MV THEFT

Officers responded to a report of a car theft on St Paul St.

LARCENY

Officers took a report of a suitcase theft on Pleasant St.
