SCOOTER THEFT - Officers were called to Monmouth St for a report, where the reporting party shared they left their moped unsecured for half an hour and returned to discover it was missing.

MV THEFT - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party stated they left their vehicle running on the street and discovered a few minutes later that it had been stolen.


Tuesday, September 20

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Pleasant St for a report, where the reporting party shared they received notification of a delivery. When they went to collect it, the package was missing from the unsecured lobby.

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they mailed a check but later discovered it was altered and cashed.

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they mailed a couple checks but later discovered they were altered and attempted to be cashed.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report, of shoplifting. The reporting party stated they witnessed a male individual leave the store without paying for merchandise. The perpetrator was apprehended and placed under arrest.


Wednesday, September 21

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Harvard AV for a report of a breaking and entering. The reporting party stated they discovered a male individual had entered their vehicle, which was left unlocked in a parking lot, in the early morning and broken into another.

ANIMAL VIOLATION - Officers took a report of a dog bite that occurred at Griggs Park. The reporting party shared they were walking their dog when an off-leash dog ran up and bit the other. The owner was issued a by-law citation.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Pleasant St for a report, where the reporting party shared they received confirmation for a delivery, but the package was gone when they went to retrieve it.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers took a report of a suspicious individual possibly carrying a firearm on High St. The matter has been resolved.


Thursday, September 22

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - Officers were called to Regent Cr. The reporting party stated someone had attempted to gain entry to their residence.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Centre St for a report, where the reporting party shared they received confirmation of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, the package was missing.

ID FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated they were alerted to a fraudulent tax return transaction.

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they discovered a fraudulent check had been cashed from their account.


Friday, September 23

ASSAULT - A male individual came to the police station to recover property, but when officers were unable to assist him, he became assaultive and began acting erratically. He was placed under arrest.

ASSAULT - Officers were called to Dwight St for a report of a conflict between two parties. An individual began acting aggressively when approached by another party and struck them. The perpetrator was placed under arrest.

 

Sunday, September 25

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they mailed a couple checks but later discovered they were altered and attempted to be cashed.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report, where the victim reported a male individual was acting erratically and grabbed them by the hair. 

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Aston Rd for a report of a breaking and entering.
