CAR BREAK - Officers took a report of a car break that occurred on Lanark Rd. The reporting party stated they returned to their car to find property strewn about the front seats. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Amory St for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The reporting party stated they discovered their car was missing this morning. The matter is under investigation.


Tuesday, January 4

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Centre St for a report of a past package theft. The reporting party stated that they received notification that the package arrived, but it was gone when they went to retrieve it. The matter is under investigation.

DOG BITE - Officers took a report of a past dog bite. The reporting party stated they were walking their dog on Walnut St when a loose dog approached and attacked their dog. Officers determined the dog was up to date on its vaccinations and the owner was issued a citation.

CAR BREAK - Officers took a report of a car break that occurred on Lanark Rd. The reporting party stated they discovered their car in disarray and realized property was missing. The matter is under investigation.

GRAFFITI - Officers responded to Coolidge Corner for a report of graffiti in a public space. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers were called to Brookline Place for a report of stolen property. The reporting party stated the item was left in an unsecured room, and when they returned, it was gone. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Thatcher St for a report of breaking and entering of motor vehicles. The reporting party stated they found their cars unlocked and with property strewn about the seats. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Freeman St for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they parked their car on the street and returned in the morning to discover it was missing. It has since been recovered.


Wednesday, January 5

GRAFFITI - Officers took a report for graffiti on Greenough St. The matter is under investigation.

ROBBERY - Officers responded to Greenough St for a report of an assault that just occurred. The reporting party stated that a person had been traveling down the street when four individuals jumped out of a car and attacked them, took their belongings, and fled the area. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Commonwealth Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they parked their car on the street and returned to find property missing. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, January 6

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Pleasant St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated they received notification of the delivery, but the packages were gone by the time they went to collect them. The matter is under investigation.

ANIMAL BITE - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of a dog bite. The reporting party stated a dog approached them and bit them on the leg. Officers determined the dog was up to date on its vaccinations and the owner was issued a citation.

BAT EXOPOSURE Officers were contacted by an individual who reported they had trapped a bat in their house. The police took custody of it to submit for rabies testing.


Friday, January 7

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of malicious damage. The reporting party stated they returned to their car to find the tires slashed. The matter is under investigation.

BURGLARY - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of a breaking and entering. The reporting party stated an individual had entered an apartment and taken property. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to St Paul St for reports of a car breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they found the car door slightly ajar and property missing. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their car parked at a meter and returned to find it missing.


Saturday, January 8

LARCENY - Officers responded to Kent St for a report of a past larceny. The reporting party stated property went missing from their room. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, January 9

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to St Paul St for a report of a past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated that they found their vehicle had been rummaged through. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Stearns Rd for a report of a past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated that property was missing from their vehicle. The matter is under investigation.
