Monday, November 1

FRAUD - Officers took a report of a scam. The reporting party stated they received a call from an individual claiming to be from Amazon and that there was a problem with their account. The individual requested payment through gift cards in exchange for fixing the issue. The matter is under investigation.

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Clinton Rd for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they secured it to a bike rack but returned to find the lock cut and bike missing. The matter is under investigation.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY - Officers were called to the corner of Clarence St and Thorndike St for a report of an attempted robbery. The victims stated a male individual claimed to have a firearm and demanded they drop their money. The victims fled, unharmed. The matter is under investigation.


Tuesday, November 2

FRAUD - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report of a fraudulent use by check. The reporting party stated that they discovered checks had been altered in amount and to unknown persons without their knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to St. Paul St for a report of package thefts. The reporting party stated they received notification of the packages' deliveries, but they were gone when they went to collect them. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Elm St for a report of a scam. The reporting party stated they were contacted by an individual claiming to be from Apple Support. The individual directed them to purchase gift cards and share the codes on the back. The matter is under investigation.

FOUND PROPERTY - An individual turned in a cellphone found at the intersection of Winthrop Rd and Gardner Rd. It will be kept at the station for safe keeping.

FOUND PROPERTY - Officers found an abandoned, unsecured bike on Beacon St and took it to the station for safe keeping.

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Boylston St for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they had left the bike inside the building, but when they returned, it was gone. The matter is under investigation.

FOUND PROPERTY - Officers found an abandoned bicycle on Beacon St and took it to the station for safe keeping.


Wednesday, November 3

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Browne St for a report of vandalism. The reporting party stated they found paint and tar had been poured on the floor of a building. The matter is under investigation.

BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to Paine Ct for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they left the bike on their lawn and returned to find it missing. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers were called to Dwight St for a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated they received a notification about a loan application made without their knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated they received notification that credit cards were opened under their name without their knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.


Friday, November 5

FRAUD - Officers were called to Griggs Rd for a report of a fraudulent use of a check. The reporting party stated that, when checking their bank statements, they noticed some checks had been altered and cashed without their knowledge or consent. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Egmont St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they parked the vehicle on the street and noticed property missing when they returned. The matter is under investigation.


Saturday, November 6

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to St Paul St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had left their vehicle unlocked in the garage and returned to find items from the console and glove box scattered around the car. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, November 7

FRAUD - Officers were called to Wallis Rd for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received a pop-up notification for an electronic currency app and were contacted by an individual claiming to be help and support. The individual asked for banking information. The matter is under investigation. 

FOUND PROPERTY - An individual came into the station with a phone they found in Washington Square. It will be kept at the station for safe keeping.
