Officers took 5 unemployment fraud reports since 12/21/2020
12/22/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a
resident of Irving St. The resident
reported to officers that they had a packaged delivered and when they went to retrieve
it the contents of the package were gone.
12/22/2020- Officers took a Break & Enter of a motor
vehicle report from Evans Rd. The victim
reported that their vehicle was parked in the driveway overnight. When they awoke in the morning they found the
car had been rummaged through. Multiple items were taken.
12/22/2020- Officers took a package theft from a resident of
Marshall St. The resident reported that
they had a package that was marked as delivered on 12/06/2020 however they had
not received the package.
12/22/2020- Officers took a break & enter of a motor
vehicle report from a resident of Walnut St.
The resident reported to the officers that their car was parked in the driveway
form 12/17/2020 to 12/21/2020. During that time frame someone had entered the vehicle
and rummaged through. Unknown items were taken.
12/23/2020- Offices responded to CVS on Commonwealth Ave for
a reported shoplifter. The employees reported
to officers that three customers had just left the store without paying for multiple
items.
12/24/2020- Officers responded to CVS on Harvard St for a
reported shoplifter. The employees
reported to officers that a customer had just left the store without purchasing
multiple items.
12/24/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen license plate
from a resident of Prince St. The
resident reported to officers that their vehicle had been parked in the
driveway since 12/17/2020. Within this
time frame someone had removed the rear license plate from their vehicle.
12/28/2020- Officers took a package theft report form a
resident of Bowker St. The resident
reported to officers that they had multiple packages delivered between 12/24
and 12/28. The packages had been opened
and the contents were all taken.
12/28/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a
resident of Longwood Ave. The resident
reported to officers that they received a delivered notification for a package.
When they went to retrieve it they found that the package was not at their
door.
12/30/2020- Officers responded to a store on Harvard St for
a report of a customer who pulled a knife on the employees. It was reported to
officers that a customer came in and pulled a knife out and left the store with
the item. The subject was located nearby and placed under arrest.
12/30/2020- Officers made an arrest on Harvard St for
package thefts. The subject was found with packages addressed to the residents.
12/30/2020- Officers took a package theft from a resident of
High St. The resident reported that they
had three packages delivered. When they
went to retrieve the packages they found that they were gone.
12/31/2020- Officers
took a shoplifting report from a business on Harvard St. The employees reported that a customer had
left the store without purchasing items.
12/31/2020- Officers responded to Essex St and Dummer St for
a report of a traffic crash. During the
investigation of the accident the operator was placed under arrest of operation
under the influence of alcohol and operation after a suspended license.
01/01/2021- Officers responded to Washington St for a report
of an operation passed out at the wheel. During the investigation, the operator
began to drive away, striking a police vehicle.
The vehicle became disabled and stopped further down Washington St. The operator was placed under arrest for
operation under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop for a police officer,
operation to endanger, leaving the scene of an accident and open container of
alcohol.
01/01/2021- Officers took a bike theft report from a
resident of Worthington Rd. The resident
reported that while in the back yard they noticed that the lock securing their
garage door was missing. Upon investigation
they noticed that their bike was missing from the garage as well.
01/01/2021- Officers took a shoplifting report from CVS on
Harvard St. The employees informed
officers that a customer came into the store, placed multiple items into a bag
and left the sore without purchasing.
01/03/2021- Officers took a larceny report form a resident
of Linden St. The resident reported to
the officers they found a hanging planter and a metal planter was missing from their
property.
