Officers took 19 reports of Unemployment Fraud between 12/07 and 12/14
12/07/2020- Officers responded to a radio call for a residential alarm on Woodland Road. Our Public Safety Dispatchers informed responding units that multiple alarms were activated, and that they were monitoring a subject on camera. Dispatch updated police units upon their arrival that the subject was now in the basement, sitting on a couch. Responding units were given the access code and were able to gain access to the property. Officers immediately went to the basement and located the subject, who was lying on the couch in the middle of the room. Officers arrested the individual who is being charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime with Intent to Commit a Felony, Attempted Larceny and Trespassing as well as several active warrants
12/07/2020- Officers took a report for Graffiti on Brookline Ave.
12/07/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Newton St
who reported that they were informed their catalytic converter and oxygen
sensor had been taken from their motor vehicle. The vehicle had been parked in
their driveway of the Newton St residence.
12/08/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Stearns Rd. The resident reported to the officers that they had multiple packages delivered. When they went to retrieve the packages they found that they were opened and rifled through. Multiple items were missing from the deliveries. A second resident of the building also reported having packages opened and rifled through as well.
12/08/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Evans Rd. The resident reported to officers that they had ordered groceries to be delivered. The packages were left on the porch, when they went to retrieve the order, the packages were gone.
12/09/2020- Officers were called to CVS on Beacon St. for a
reported shoplifter. The employees
informed the officers that a customer had been in the store and was observed
placing items into a bag and leaving the store without purchasing.
12/10/2020- Officers took a bike theft report from a
resident of Edgehill Rd. The resident
reported that their bike was taken from the rear of the house some time since November
18, 2020.
12/11/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a
resident of New Terrace Rd. The resident
reported that they received a delivery notification for a package, when they
went to retrieve it the package was gone.
12/12/2020- Offices took a package theft report from a
resident of Beacon St. The resident
reported that they received a delivery notification for a package they were
expecting when they went to retrieve the package it was gone.
12/12/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a
resident of Marion St. The resident reported
that on 12/09 they revived a delivered notification regarding a package. When they went to retrieve it they found that
the package was gone.
