December 9, 2019

At approximately 11:30 AM Brookline Police received a report from a victim of a dog bite that happened on the day prior to the report. Once one scene officers spoke to the victim who told police that she was walking down Columbia Street when she passed a person walking their dog on a leash.  As the dog crossed paths with the victim it jumped up and bit the victims arm.  The dog was up to date on all its vaccinations, however it was subject to the mandatory 10 day precautionary quarantine and the owner was issued a citation for the bite.

At approximately 3:59 PM Officers were dispatched to Browne Street for a report of a stolen package. Once on scene officers met with the reporting party who told police that she had received notification that her package was delivered. When she went to retrieve it after work, it was not in foyer.  Police are investigating.
