Thursday, May 2nd

2:21PM: Police responded to Egmont Street for a report of a past larceny. On Saturday, April 27th, the reporting party arrived home with her son and hid $7,000 in cash in a white envelope inside a drawer. This morning, she went to retrieve the money but could not locate it. The reporting party and her son searched the entire house without luck. They believe the money was stolen sometime between 9AM on Monday, April 29th and 5:30PM on Wednesday, May 1st. Police are investigating.

9:36PM: Officers were dispatched to multiple locations within Sectors 8 and 9 for a report of political signs being taken. On Hammond Street, police noticed several signs missing from multiple homes. Signs were taken from both public and private properties. There were thefts of this nature on at least five different streets in the area. People should avoid putting signs on public property as the town may take them. This case is under investigation.
