12:00 a.m.: An officer was conducting a traffic stop in the Coolidge Corner area. The registered owner of the vehicle happened to have a warrant out in the State of New York for dangerous possession of drugs. Officers arrived on scene as the individual was placed under arrest for the extraditable warrant.

1:00 a.m.: An officer stopped a man on Harvard St who fit the description of someone who was tagging in the area. After questioning the man he admitted to tagging in the area the night before. The man gave consent for his backpack to be searched; in the bag were spray paint cans and other items used for tagging.

8:00 a.m.: An officer responded to an address on Boylston Street. The reporting party stated that when they had arrived to their office that morning the party had noticed that some of the file cabinets had been pried open, rummaged through and petty cash from the desk drawers had been taken.

7:31 p.m.: Police responded to a mental health facility on South Street for a report of a patient that had eloped. Staff reported the patient had stolen a bicycle during the elopement and was attempting to elude them on Goddard Ave.  An officer responding to the scene observed the subject on Goddard Ave, and attempted to stop him. The subject assaulted the officer and fled. A brief foot pursuit ensued and the man was stopped in nearby Larz Anderson Park. The officer was treated on scene and finished his shift. The bike was returned to its proper owner, and the subject was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

10:00 p.m.: An officer responded to a store on Beacon Street for a theft report. The reporting party stated that at approximately 9:55 p.m. the woman plugged her phone into the stores outlet to be charged. She left her phone unattended and when she returned to retrieve the phone it was missing but the charger was still left there. This incident is under investigation.


11:22 p.m.: An officer responded to an address on Park Street for a stolen bicycle report. The owner reports locking the bicycle to a town street sign outside her residence at approximately 8:00 a.m. and returning at 11:00 p.m.
