7/27/2015-7/28/2015

On July 27th, an officer observed a vehicle stopped at a red arrow in the left turn lane at the intersection of Beacon St. and St. Paul St.  The vehicle quickly turned right onto St. Paul from the left hand turn lane of Beacon Street.  The officers activated the cruisers overhead emergency blue lights and safely initiate a traffic stop. The officer advised the operator of the reason for the stop and asked for the operator’s license and registration.  The officer then queried the driver’s vehicle registration which revealed his right to operate a motor vehicle had been revoked. The subject has been placed under arrest.

On July 27th, an officer was dispatched to Cameron St. for a past report of Breaking and Entering.  On scene, the owner of the building stated that the three apartment units are currently being renovated. He stated after finishing working on the units around 7 p.m. on July 26th  and he remembers locking all the doors and windows. The victim stated the next day the door to the first floor unit had been kicked in and a ladder was placed under a second floor window.  The victim reported missing tools which were being stored in the third floor unit.

On July 28th officers responded to a report of burglary, upon arrival the victim stated there apartment had been burglarized. The victim stated the suspect broke in through the bedroom window. After noticing where the suspect broke in the victim stated seeing her apartment ransacked. She reported a wide array of personal items missing. This matter is still under investigation.
