Police Reports 4/10/2014

On April 10, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle speeding on Beacon Street. The officer found that the driver had an active warrant in effect and the driver was placed under arrest.

On April 10, an officer observed a vehicle stopped in the intersection of Beacon St. and Washington St. blocking the crosswalk and an adjacent fire hydrant. The officer observed that the car was running but there were no lights illuminated and the dark window tint made it difficult to determine whether the vehicle was occupied. The officer activated his lights and approached the vehicle. A check with dispatch confirmed that the vehicle’s registration was revoked and the driver’s license was suspended and the driver was placed under arrest.
