Police Reports 4/22-4/23

OUIL: 4/22 at 9:17 PM- Kent St.

Officers received a reported of a female subject in violation of a no trespass order in the area of Kent St. Upon locating the subject, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from her person. Officers also located the vehicle that the subject had been driving, which had been involved in two hit and run accidents in Medford. Based on the circumstances, the subject was placed under arrest for Trespassing, OUIL, Operating after Revocation, Possession of a Class E Drug and Disorderly Conduct. She will also be charged with Receiving Stolen Property after the vehicle was reported stolen out of New Hampshire.

Sector 3

Package Theft Arrest: 4/22 at 5:37 PM- Beacon St.

Officers received a report of a male individual who was observed going through packages in the vestibule of a Beacon St. building. An individual matching the description and carrying several bags was observed boarding an MBTA trolley. Officers entered the train and located the subject. The subject was found to be in possession of several items that had been stolen from vestibules. The subject was also positively identified by the original reporter as the man who was going through packages on Beacon St. The subject was placed under arrest for Attempted Larceny from a Building, Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of Burglarious Tools.

Sector 4

B&E MV: 4/22 between 6:00 and 7:00 PM- Pond Ave. / Jamaica Rd.

An individual reported the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that she parked her vehicle in a lot in the area of Pond Ave. When she returned she discovered that the window had been smashed and a GPS and a pocket book containing a wallet were stolen.
