January 26th- 28th

Arrests:
Occurred between 1:30 PM (1/26) and 1:40 PM (1/26) – South Street

Officers responded to a report for Indecent Assault and Battery at a local medical facility. Upon investigation the victim stated that she had been sexually assaulted by a fellow patient. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with indecent assault and battery.

Occurred between 5:22 PM (1/26) and 6:00 PM (1/26) – High Street / Acron Road

Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign. Upon investigation officers learned that the operators' driver’s license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license 4th subsequent offense.

Occurred at 7:43 PM (1/27) – Boylston Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. Upon investigation officers learned that the operator right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass was suspended. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for Operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
Robbery:

Occurred at 1:42 PM (1/26) – Harvard Street

Officers responded to a report of Robbery at a local bank. Upon investigation, officers learned that the suspect had given a written note to the teller. The teller complied with his demands and then informed police officers. Officers conducted an intense search of the area, however was unable to find the suspect. The incident is under investigation.

Operating after suspension:

Occurred at 11:30 AM (1/26) – Washington Street

While conducting an investigation involving a cab driver, police learned that his driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a citation and will be summons to Brookline District Court for Operating after suspension and violation of the Brookline Hackney Rules and Regulations.

Motor Vehicle Theft:

Occurred between 12:15 AM (1/26) and 5:10 PM (1/26) – Commonwealth Avenue

Officer responded to a call of motor vehicle theft. Upon investigation officers learned that two motor vehicles from a local auto shop had been stolen during the night. One of the two vehicles has been recovered in Cambridge, MA and a subject had been arrested in that jurisdiction.

Assault:
Occurred between 4:40 PM (1/27) and 4:45 PM (1/27) – Garrison Road

Officers responded to a report of assault and battery. Upon investigation the victims stated that a man had assaulted two neighborhood boys after the boys accidently knocked snow onto the sidewalk. The subject was not located at the time of the initial repoonse, however officers are conducting a follow up investigation.
