Arrest
Occurred 4:39PM (6/16) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a local animal hospital for an intoxicated person. The caller, an employee, stated that the subject had come in to ask advice regarding her cat and upon entering the building, fell through the doorway. The caller was nervous about the subject’s sobriety and attempt to driver her vehicle. After further investigation, officers became concerned that the subject had driven to the station while intoxicated and she was subsequently arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor.
Occurred 5:26PM (6/17) – 56 Chestnut St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a speeding violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers found that his license was suspended. The driver was subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
Occurred 4:45PM (6/18) – 4 Brookline Place
Police responded to a report of a possible shoplifting. The caller stated that he thought that a subject had just stolen an item from his convenience store, but nothing appeared to have been taken. Upon identifying the subject, officers found that he had a default warrant and he was subsequently arrested.
Occurred 12:43AM (6/19) – Boylston St./Dunster Rd.
Police performed a traffic stop for a speeding violation. After identifying the driver, it was discovered that she had a default warrant. The driver was subsequently arrested.
Occurred 7:35PM (6/21) – Boylston St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officer found that his license was suspended. The driver was subsequently arrested for operating after suspension.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
Occurred between 6:30AM and 2:20PM (6/18) – Brookline Ave./Parkway Rd.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that he returned to his truck to find that his passenger side window was smashed and his GPS unit was stolen. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 12:00PM and 12:30PM (6/19) – Egmont St.
Police were informed by a victim that his vehicle had been victimized. The victim stated that he had returned to find his vehicle’s passenger side window smashed. A GPS unit and the victim’s wife’s purse, containing credit and debit cards, a passport, and medications, were stolen. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 12:10PM and 12:31PM (6/21) – Carlton St.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. The victim stated that he parked his company truck and upon returning was informed by a passerby that she had seen a heavy-set black female steal a GPS unit from the victim’s vehicle. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred between 10:30AM and 5:30PM (6/9) – Freeman St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The caller stated that he noticed that the vending machine, in the basement of an apartment complex, was not properly locked. When the vending machine was opened up, there was a large amount of money missing from inside. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 7:11PM (6/17) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a panic alarm for a shoplifter in a local retail store. Upon arriving on scene, an employee stated that a black male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, wearing a bright orange hoodie, blue jeans, and black sneakers, just stole an “Iphone” from the store. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 8:55AM and 9:00AM (6/18) – Browne St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that she was at a local coffee shop with a friend. She placed her black backpack was on the back of the chair and upon leaving, the victim realized it was gone. Along with the backpack, the victim’s wallet, credit cards, license, money, house keys, and prescription glasses were stolen. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 1:00PM and 1:17PM (6/18) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The caller, an employee at a local jewelry store, stated that she was working with a customer when another customer asked her a question. When the employee attempted to assist the other customer, the original customer walked out of the store with a silver ring. The suspect was a young woman with olive skin wearing a turquoise short sleeved shirt with a headband. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 7:30PM and 7:45PM (6/14) – Beacon St.
Victim reported to police that his Iphone had been stolen. He stated that he had left his cell phone in a restaurant and when he returned it was missing. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 4:41PM (6/19) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a shoplifting at a local bookstore. The caller, an employee, stated that she observed a white female, 40-50 years old with long grey hair in a ponytail and missing several teeth, steal five woman’s silver rings from a display. The woman was with a 7-8 year old black male. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 5:32PM (6/1) and 5:32PM (6/19) – Rawson Rd.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that several decorative items were stolen from his garden. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 8:05PM (6/19) – Commonwealth Ave.
Police responded to a report of a larceny from a local restaurant. The caller, an employee, stated that three subjects, all between 35-40 years old and heavy set with one missing a right leg and seated in a wheel chair, ordered a large amount of food and left without paying the bill. The subjects left in a green Honda sedan. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 6:00PM (6/17) and 5:00PM (6/20) – Clinton Rd.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that his new credit card and the keys to his vehicle were missing from his desk inside his home. The victim believed that a visitor may have stolen the items. A check of the credit card showed that there were upwards of 20 fraudulent charges made since the card went missing. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred between 11:00AM and 2:00PM (6/15) – St. Paul St.
Police responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that she arrived home to find her apartment broken into. A ring and some money were taken from the apartment. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 11:00AM and 3:40PM (6/17) – Strathmore Rd.
Police responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that she arrived home and noticed that her front door lock had been damaged. The lock appeared to have been pried open and was on the floor of her apartment. The victim’s dresser drawers were all opened and her items were strewn across her bedroom. It was discovered that the victim’s money was missing. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 9:05AM and 2:45PM (6/18) – Browne St.
Police responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that upon arriving home she discovered that her front door had been pried open. A large amount of jewelry was missing from the victim’s home. Officers also found that another apartment at the same address had been broken into and jewelry was also missing from inside. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 9:30AM and 7:00PM (6/21) – Freeman St.
Police responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that he returned home to find his door lock was broken. Taken from inside the house were a watch and a jar of coins. Police are following up on the case.
