July 14th Police Reports

Breaking and Entering of Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 6:30(7/12) and 5:30(7/13) – 29 Hyslop Rd.

Victim reported that the contents of the glove compartment of her vehicle and the center consul were all over the front seat. Victim stated that she had left her vehicle unlocked. Police are following up on the case.

Graffiti

  • Occurred between 5:00(7/13) and 1:30(7/14) – 115 Greenough St.

An employee of the summer school reported graffiti on the hallway wall. The employee stated that there were several markings on the board in the classroom as well. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10:15(7/14) and 11:10(7/14) – 1037 Beacon St.

Victim reported that her bike and chainlock had been stolen. Victim stated that she had secured the bike well, before having left it. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred 1:21(7/14) – 529 Harvard St.

Victim reported having observed a white male take a bottle of tea and placed it down his pants, while trying to pay for another beverage. Victim stated that he confronted the suspect, who set the tea on the counter and left the store. Suspect was placed under arrest for shoplifting. During a search of the suspect’s property, police recovered marijuana. The recovered property was seized and submitted into evidence.

Open and Gross

  • Occurred 10:14(7/14) – 0 Emerson Park

Victim reported that a white male had exposed himself and lunged at her before he ran away. Victim stated that she was walking home, talking on her cell phone, when the incident occurred. Suspect is in his late 50's, wears large round glasses, has salt and pepper colored hair, flat shaped face, slightly rounded eyes, 5'-9"-5'11", and approximately 210lbs. Victim states that he had a gray hooded zip up sweatshirt, pants rolled up to his knees, and running sneakers. Police are following up on the case.
