September 9th 2008 Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 8:30PM (9/08) and 10:26AM (9/09) – 175 Freeman St

Victim reports that she had left her vehicle parked in her assigned spot and upon returning to it the following morning she observed that her vehicle’s rear license plate was missing. The two screws that held the license plate were found on the ground.

  • Occurred between 1:48PM (9/09) and 2:20PM (9/09) – 99 Harvard St

Officers on patrol stopped a suspect who matched the description of shoplifter who just fled a Walgreens. The suspect was identified by store officials and was placed under arrest for shoplifting. A search of the suspect revealed two stolen boxes of Tylenol medication and two boxes of Motrin.

  • Occurred between 2:30 (9/09) and 3:45 (9/09) – 22 Parkway Rd

Victim states that upon returning to her vehicle she observed that the passenger side window had been smashed and that several items were missing. A black bag was taken from the front seat of the vehicle that contained various medical documents, a checkbook, and a prescription pad.

  • Occurred between 7:00PM (9/06) and 1:00AM (9/07) – 15 Newton St

Victim reports that she was modeling for a charity event and had left her belongings in a room reserved for the models. After returning to retrieve her belongings she observed that several of her credit cards and cell phone was missing. Several other models also found credit cards and cash missing from their purses.

  • Occurred between 7:30PM (9/08) and 10:00AM (9/09) – 37 -39 Carlton St)

Victim reports that sometime overnight someone had stolen his license plate off his vehicle. He stated that all four bolts were removed from the plate.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 11:35AM (9/09) – 38 Juniper St

Police were dispatched to a report of a probation violation. After locating the individual he was placed under arrest as a fugitive from justice.

Disorderly Conduct

  • Occurred at 11:43PM (9/09) – 42 Verndale St

Victim reports that she was in her room when she observed a black male looking into her window holding a camera. She stated that the camera was a black digital camera with a silver face. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a light colored shirt and was seen running towards Kenwood St.
