February 1st-3rd Police Reports

February 1, 2008

Graffiti

  • Occurred between 6:00 PM 1/31 and 1:00 PM 2/1 48 Corey Rd.

Victim reports that over the weekend someone had spray painted his white picket fence. Police observed one tag in pink spray paint.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 10:30 PM and 10:49 PM 14 Parkman St.

Victim reports that a small window on the interior door of his building was broken. He reports that at the time of the incident his son was the only one home and prior to noticing the broken window he saw a small group of young people out front.

February 2, 2008

Arrest

  • Occurred between 1:33 AM and 2:24 AM Harvard St. / Sewall Ave.

Daniel Long, 22 yrs, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police pulled over Mr. Long on Harvard St. Police asked the driver, Mr. Long to step out side of the vehicle, he then began to sprint in the direction of Sewall Ave. Police were able to catch up the suspect and place him under arrest.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM 1063 Beacon St.

Victim reports that $400.00 was missing from his apartment. The victim told police that someone had been showing the apartment to possible renters and has the key to the apartment.

February 3, 2008

Arrest

  • Occurred between 12:14 AM and 12:44 AM 1651 Beacon St.

David Homan, 33 yrs, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, malicious damage to a building, and assault and battery.

Police responded to reports of a disorderly person at the Golden Temple. Upon arrival they observed the kitchen to be in disarray with dozens of broken plates, prepared food, and other items scattered on the floor. Mr. Homan was placed under arrest and brought to the police station. Fallon ambulance determined that they were going to transport him to Beth Israel Hospital. While the subject was being escorted to a room he slapped a nurse across the face and became very belligerent. During a struggle to restrain the subject, he also managed to hit the officers.

  • Occurred between 2:59 AM and 3:36 AM Boylston St. / Norfolk Rd.

Roberts Evans, 43 yrs, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

After being pulled over for a traffic violation, police observed Mr. Evans to be intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.

  • Occurred at 10:15 PM 229 St Paul St.

David Small, 51 yrs, was arrested and charged with larceny.

Victims report that while they were moving furniture into their new apartment they noticed that a few items were missing. Police began their investigation by talking to other residents in the building. When they came to Mr. Small’s apartment they observed him carrying a stereo receiver, which is one of the items missing. Police were given permission to enter the premises and then observed the other items that were reported missing in the apartment. Mr. Small was arrested for burglary.

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred between 6:00 PM 2/2 and 12:01 2/3 384 Harvard St.

Victim reports that while his vehicle was parked on the street someone had smashed the front passenger side window. Stolen from the vehicle was a GPS unit valued at $250.00. Nothing else appeared to be taken.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 10:30 AM and 11:55 AM 333 Washington St.

Victim reports while she was at church her car that was parked in the town hall lot was keyed. She stated that her hood, trunk and right side was keyed.

Robbery

  • Occurred between 6:40 PM and 6:44 PM 70 Pearl St.

Victim reports that while on Pearl St. she was pushed down to the ground from behind during the robbery, but sustained no injuries. Stolen was a black pocketbook containing $47.00 and a couple of credit-cards. A witness described the suspect as a light skinned black male, 5’9 wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, workout style sweat pants, and had short black hair.

Assault

  • Occurred at 10:20 PM Beacon St. / Winthrop Rd.

Victim reports that as she was walking down the street she observed a tall white male, 6’2” with long brown hair wearing a white baseball cap and blue jeans kick over a newspaper box. He then knocked over a barrel and proceeded to take a concrete flower pot off the stairs and throw it on the ground. Before he threw it the victim said to him “don’t do it”. He then threw it to the ground, charged after her, and hit her on the head with his hand. He then proceeded to walk up Winthrop Rd. away from Beacon St. Subject not located at this time.
