FOUND PROPERTY
A lost wallet was found by an officer stationed near the Kent Street MBTA stop. The wallet is described as a black leather men's wallet. The officer was unable to locate contact information for the owner, so the wallet has been placed into evidence for safekeeping.
ANIMAL VIOLATION
An officer conducted a follow-up investigation on Russett Road regarding an incident where a dog was off-leash and aggressively charged a man walking his leashed puppy. The victim sustained a knee injury requiring medical treatment. After gathering statements and evidence, the dog's owner was located and cited for violating local leash laws and for the dog causing injury.
SHOPLIFTING
A theft was reported from a store on Beacon Street where the suspect allegedly stole several items and fled in a vehicle.
FRAUD
An individual on Naples Road reported that they were the target of a fraud scheme involving the impersonation of bank representatives. The fraudulent party instructed the victim to withdraw a large sum of money under false pretenses. Fortunately, bank staff intervened before any funds were lost. As a precaution, the victim's account was frozen, and the incident was documented by the BPD.
ID FRAUD
An individual reported identity fraud to the front desk of the Brookline Police Station. They received a call claiming that a new credit card had been issued in their name and used to make a large purchase in a foreign country. Police suspect the call was a fraudulent attempt to obtain more personal information. Officers advised the individual not to disclose any personal details if contacted again and to report any further suspicious calls.

CAR BREAK
Police received a report of suspicious activity in a parking garage at Brookline Place. Several individuals were seen attempting to enter parked vehicles. One vehicle was later discovered with its door ajar and cash missing.

An Apple Watch was found on Beacon Street and turned into the Brookline Police Station.
SHOPLIFTING
A shoplifting was reported on Commonwealth Ave. The suspect concealed several items within a backpack and fled the store.
MALICIOUS DAMAGE
Dispatch received a report of damage to a vehicle on Strathmore Rd. The vehicle was towed overnight, and upon retrieval, the owner discovered a flat tire resulting from a small cut.

A blue wallet was found on Washington Street and turned into the Brookline Police Station.

RESIDENTIAL ALARM
Officers responded to a residential alarm on Goddard Ave.

A camera was found on Harvard Ave. It is currently at the Brookline Police Station for safekeeping.
BIKE THEFT
A bicycle theft was reported on Kilsyth Rd. The reporting party stated that a bicycle was stolen from their front porch earlier that morning. Surveillance footage showed a suspect abandoning a bicycle nearby and then taking the victim's bike from the porch.
PACKAGE THEFT
An individual on James St reported that a package was stolen from the vestibule of their apartment complex.
SHOPLIFTING
Officers received report of a shoplifting at a store on Commonwealth Ave. A known individual was identified as the suspect in the theft of merchandise. Surveillance footage was reviewed, and additional background information revealed a history of similar incidents across multiple locations. This incident was cleared through court action.

A case of credit card fraud was reported from Park St. While in the Coolidge Corner area, the reporting party noticed their wallet was missing and then they began receiving fraud alerts regarding their credit cards. They cancelled one of their cards and were able to stop most of the fraudulent charges.
BAT EXPOSURE
A bat exposure was reported on Warren St.

An individual was seen shoplifting from a store on Commonwealth Ave.
SHOPLIFTING
A shoplifting incident was reported at a store on Commonwealth Ave. In this case, two suspects were observed working together to conceal and steal items without paying. Both individuals were apprehended and arrested.
