Monday, February 9

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a call of past shoplifting on Harvard Street, where two suspects stolen merchandise. 

LARCENY

Officers responded to a report of past larceny that occurred in mid January. The reporting party stated that a few personal items went missing when moving. 

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers received a call of a package theft on Winthrop Road, where the package had been opened and the contents taken sometime during the evening. 

Tuesday, February 10

ANIMAL BITE

Officers responded to report of an animal bite. The reporting party stated they were bite by a smaller dog while on a walk, and was transported to the hospital for treatment. 

BIKE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of a bicycle theft from the front porch of a house on Naples Road in the early afternoon. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a call of shoplifting at a CVS on Harvard Street. 

Wednesday, February 11

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a call of shoplifting at a store on Beacon Street involving two suspects. 

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of package theft from a vestibule from a building on University Road. 

Thursday, February 12

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting that occurred on Harvard Street involving two suspects who distracted an employee to steal merchandise. 

Friday, February 13

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a call reporting an incident of shoplifting at a store on Harvard Street. Both suspects have been arrested. 

FOUND PROPERTY

Officers received a call of found property where the reporting party found a bullet found in a laundry room on Pond Avenue. It is now at the Brookline Police Department for safe keeping.

FRAUD 

Officers responded to a call of fraud. The reporting party stated that they were trying to contact a medical professional over email and was requested to pay money. The party became suspicious and contacted the individual over the phone, which revealed that someone had hacked their email and requested the money. 

COUNTERFIT

Officers responded to a call of an suspect attempting to use counterfeit money at a restaurant on Commonwealth Avenue.
