PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of a previously reported package theft that occurred on Centre Street. 

Tuesday, January 6

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a call regarding shoplifting on Harvard Street. 

Wednesday, January 7

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to a call reporting a car break on Juniper Street, where nothing was taken, but the car appeared to be ransacked. 

BURGLARY

Officers arrived on scene to a reported burglary on Short Street, with no signs of forced entry into the apartment. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting that had occurred in the evening on Harvard Street. 

Thursday, January 8

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a call about a past package theft that occurred on Boylston Street.

Friday, January 9

IDENTITY THEFT

Officers received a report of identity fraud to the front desk of the Brookline Police Department where a fraudulent account was opened on a individual's credit card without their permission. 

FOUND PROPERTY

Officers received lost property that includes an Apple Air tag, a key ring, and a video screen with cables. The property is secure at the Brookline Police Department. 

Saturday, January 10 

GRAFFITI

Officers observed graffiti on the side of a building on Davis Avenue. 

FRAUD

Officers responded to a call regarding fraud, in which an individual was called from a person claiming to be from their bank's fraudulent department and instructing them to wire money to another account set up by the scammer. 

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a previous report for a past package theft, regarding a unknown person stealing packages from a foyer located on Centre Street.  

THEFT

Officers responded to a call about a theft on Commonwealth Ave.
