PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a package theft on Brook Street. 

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to a breaking and entering of an unlocked vehicle parked in the rear parking lot on Saint Paul Street. 

FOUND PROPERTY

A lost passport, found on the sidewalk near Boylston and Cypress Streets near the Mobil gas station, was turned over to officers at the front desk of the Brookline Police Department.

THEFT

Officers responded to a wallet theft at the 2nd Street Store on Harvard Street.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a past package theft report at the apartment complex located on Centre Street.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to package theft from a vestibule on Egmont Street.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers were notified of a package theft at an apartment building on Washington Street.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a call about a package theft at the apartment complex located on Winchester Street.

Tuesday, December 30

FIRE

Officers responded to a report of active smoke emanating from an empty unit on Saint Paul Street, which was quickly extinguished by the responding officer. 

IDENTITY THEFT

Officers responded to a report of identity fraud. The reporting party's identity was stolen to buy various electronics.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of package theft from a vestibule on Longwood Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

An individual approached the Brookline Police Department's front desk to report a possible malicious damage to some signs on Gorham Avenue.

Thursday, January 1

CAR BREAK 

Officers responded to a call about breaking and entering of a motor vehicle parked in a parking lot on Pleasant Street. The doors and trunk were open but nothing appeared to be  missing.

FOUND PROPERTY

An individual handed over a set of keys found in the area of Winchester and Fuller Streets the morning of January 1st to the Brookline Police Department.
