Monday, October 27

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to Meadowbrook Road for a report of a possible car break. Upon further investigation, it was determined that an individual had attempted to enter a vehicle before leaving the area with another individual. 

ANIMAL BITE

An individual reported that while walking their dog at Amory Park, another dog bit theirs. The owner of the second dog was issued a citation for the injury or bite of a domestic animal. 

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

An individual reported a case of malicious damage to a vehicle on Boylston St. 

Tuesday, October 28

SHOPLIFTING

A shoplifting incident was reported at a business on Harvard St. The suspect was observed entering the store with empty bags and later leaving with them filled with miscellaneous items. 

BIKE THEFT

Officers were dispatched to Lawrence Road for a report of a bicycle theft. The reporting party  accidentally left their bike unsecured and returned to find that it was missing. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Harvard St. The suspect verbally threatened a store employee during the incident and fled the scene before police arrival.

MOTORIZED SCOOTER THEFT

An individual reported that their locked motorized scooter was stolen from a parking lot on Centre St. The cable lock securing the scooter was also missing.

Wednesday, October 29

ATTEMPTED BURLGARY

Officers received report of a breaking and entering on Sumner Rd. The reporting party stated they discovered an attempted breaking and entry.

CHECK FRAUD

A case of check fraud was reported to the front desk of the station. The reporting party discovered that a forged check had been written and cashed by unknown individuals. 

SHOPLIFTING

A case of shoplifting was reported at a business on Beacon St. 

Thursday, October 30

ID FRAUD

An individual reported they were the victim of identity fraud. 

FRAUD

A case of fraud involving a cryptocurrency platform was reported. 

CREDIT CARD FRAUD

Officers received report of a suspected credit card fraud. The reporting party discovered multiple unauthorized charges and observed an unknown individual take an envelope from their porch

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a shoplifting on Commonwealth Avenue, where the suspect stole multiple items and fled the scene.

WALLET THEFT

A person reported their wallet was stolen after being left at a business on Beacon Street. They also discovered unauthorized transactions on their debit card and have reported the card stolen.

Friday, October 31

INTERNET FRAUD

Officers were dispatched to Beacon Street for a report of internet fraud through Facebook Marketplace. 

Saturday, November 1

NOISE VIOLATION

A resident on Euston Street was cited for violating the nuisance control by-law after a report of loud music at a party. The citation was issued in response to a noise complaint.

Sunday, November 2

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a shoplifting case at a business on Beacon St. Two individuals were found with unpaid items. One of them was arrested and the other was summoned to court.
