Monday, November 3

TRICYCLE THEFT

A resident on High Street reported the theft of their tricycle. The reporting party stated that they routinely stored the tricycle in their building’s stairwell and discovered it missing. 

Tuesday, November 4

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

An unknown individual threw a bottled beverage at the front window of a business on Beacon St. The glass bottle shattered and smashed a hole in the glass of the painted window. 

ID FRAUD

Officers a the front desk of the station received a report of identity fraud. The fraudulent party opened a Walmart credit card using identification that did not belong to them. 

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to St. Paul Street for a report of larceny. The reporting party stated that they received a notification indicating their package had been delivered; however, upon checking, they discovered the package had been opened and the item was missing.

Wednesday, November 5

FRAUD

Police received report of fraud from a residence on Harvard St. The reporting party received a phone bill in the mail for an account under their name that they did not open. 

PACKAGE THEFT

A package theft was reported at an apartment building on Centre St. The reporting party received an email delivery confirmation but they were unable to locate it in the building's lobby. 

FORGERY

The employee of a bank reported that an individual attempted to pass forged checks. 

ASSAULT

Officers received reported of an assault that occurred on Washington St. 

Thursday, November 6

FRAUD

An individual on Beacon Street reported they were a victim of fraud.

Friday, November 7

SHOPLIFTING

An employee at a business on Commonwealth Avenue reported that three individuals worked together to shoplift multiple items. 

SHOPLIFTING

Two employees at a business on Harvard Street reported that an individual stole multiple items. The guilty party was identified and charged with a 3rd offense of shoplifting along with trespassing.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on Freeman St. 

SHOPLIFTING

A business on Beacon Street reported that an unknown individual concealed and stole multiple items. 

Saturday, November 8

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Officers responded to a report of malicious damage at a residence on Glenland Rd. A rear glass door and window were found shattered by what appeared to be small projectile impacts.

Sunday, November 9

GRAFFITI

The wall of a building on Parkman Street was tagged with graffiti. 

FOUND PROPERTY

An individual found a set of keys on Beacon Street and turned them into the station for safekeeping. 

BIKE THEFT

A bike was stolen from the basement of a residence on Fuller St. 

KITCHEN FIRE

The Brookline Police and Fire Department responded to a small kitchen fire in a building on Beacon St. An overhead sprinkler extinguished the fire and none of the residents were harmed.

SHOPLIFTING

An employee of a business on Harvard Street reported a shoplifting incident.
