Monday, October 6

ANIMAL BITE

A child was bitted by a leashed dog on Harvard Street.

ATTEMPTED CAR BREAK

Officers responded to a report of an attempted car break at a residence on Stearns Rd. The suspect tried the door handles on three different vehicles before leaving the scene.

CAR BREAK

An individual reported a past car break that occurred on Longwood Ave.

PACKAGE THEFT

A package was stolen from the front steps of an apartment building on Walnut St. 

PACKAGE THEFT

A resident of Babcock Street reported a past package theft. 

CREDIT CARD FRAUD

Police received report of a stolen wallet and unauthorized use of credit/debit cards at multiple locations. A suspect has been identified and will be summoned to court. 

Tuesday, October 7

BIKE THEFT

An individual reported their bicycle was stolen from a secured garage at their apartment complex on Babcock St. The garage requires a key for entry. 

LARCENY CAR BREAK

Officers responded to a car break on Sewall Ave. The reporting party noticed several items were missing from their vehicle.

FOUND PROPERTY

A set of car keys were found at the parking lot at Fisher Hill Reservoir Park. 

LARCENY CAR BREAK

Officers received a report of a car break in a private lot on Lancaster Terrace. The reporting party noticed that the glove box, center console, and front seat had been rummaged through and items were strewn about the vehicle. The only item reported stolen was quarters.

BIKE THEFT

Two bicycles were reported stolen from a backyard on High St. 

Wednesday, October 8 

RECOVERED STOLEN MV

An individual reported that their vehicle was missing from a private parking lot on Beacon St. The car was located and returned to the owner with minor damage. 

BIKE THEFT

A bike was stolen from the basement of an apartment building on John St. 

BIKE THEFT

Police received a report of a larceny involving a bicycle and attached accessories on Babcock St.

PACKAGE THEFT

A package was stolen from a residence on Babcock St. 

Thursday, October 9

FOUND PROPERTY

A pocket knife was found on Station Street and turned into the station for safekeeping. 

CAR BREAK

An individual reported a past car break that occurred on Sewall St. 

BURGLARY

Officers responded to a reported burglary on Lee St. 

GRAFFITI

A case of graffiti in an alley way on Harvard Street was reported. 

PACKAGE THEFT

Dispatch received report of a package theft from a vestibule on Browne St. Officers advise that individuals be present when expecting a package or pick it up as soon as possible after receiving a delivery. 

Friday, October 10

FRAUD/SCAM

Officers took a report of an internet scam that claimed to come from Microsoft regarding a computer issue. After granting the fraudulent party access to their computer, the victim was informed of an issue with their bank account and was transferred to a number claiming to be with their bank. In the end, the reporting party was instructed to execute a wire transfer to the scammers. Police advised that they cease communication with both individuals they spoke with on the phone and to monitor their credit report.  

Sunday, October 12

FOUND PROPERTY

An individual turned in a gold ring they'd found in the area of Park Street.
