Monday, June 23

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Officers took report of malicious damage to a car on Park Vale St. The windshield was smashed but there was nothing missing from the car. 

FRAUD, LARCENY

Police responded to a fraud and larceny case on Highland Rd. An individual attempted to rent out an apartment they did not own. After receiving payment, the fraudulent party ceased communication with the victim. This case was closed. 

ID FRAUD

Officers responded to a report of identity fraud on Monmouth St. The individual received a notification that there had been several attempts to open credit cards under their name. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a reported larceny on Commonwealth Ave. Security footage revealed that two individuals shoplifted together and a criminal complaint has been filed with the Brookline District court. 

LARCENY, ASSAULT/BATTERY

A report of larceny and assault on Beacon St was brought to the attention of the Brookline Police. The individual was arrested. 

Tuesday, June 24

CAR BREAK

Police responded to a reported automobile larceny on Babcock St. The individual believes their car may have been left unlocked as the vehicle showed no signs of forced entry. Several personal items were stolen from the vehicle.  

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers received a report of two package thefts from the same porch on Henry St. It was advised that the individual invest in a security camera or anti-theft box for packages.

BURGLARY

Police responded to a reported burglary on West Roxbury Parkway.

Thursday, June 26

PACKAGE THEFT 

A report was made of a package theft on Park St. 

ID FRAUD

Police responded to an identity fraud report on Harvard St. The individual attempted to get an advance on a credit card using a fake ID. 

Friday, June 27

CREDIT CARD FRAUD

Officers responded to a case of credit card fraud on Beverly Rd. 

SHOPLIFTING 

Officers responded to a shoplifting incident on Commonwealth Ave.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Police took report of a suspicious individual on Beacon St. 

Saturday, June 28

LARCENY 

A report was filed for a larceny occurring on Strathmore Rd. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a shoplifting incident on Harvard St. 

Sunday, June 29

SHOPLIFTING

Another shoplifting incident occurred on Harvard St. The guilty party will be summoned to Brookline District Court. 

FOUND PROPERTY

An individual approached the front desk of the Brookline Police Department and handed in some US currency dollars that they found on Beacon St. The cash was then put into evidence. 

SHOPLIFTING 

Officers responded to a reported shoplifting on Harvard St. The two parties involved were arrested. 

ID FRAUD 

An individual reported several different forms of identity theft to the Brookline Police Department. The fraudulent party has attempted to open savings accounts and file for unemployment, clearly seeking to benefit themselves. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a shoplifting on Harvard St. The suspect was caught by police on the scene and has been summoned to Brookline District Court. 

BURGLARY

Police received a report of a burglary on Addington Rd. Several items were taken.
