7:35am: A shoplifting occurred on Harvard Street. An employee gave officers a description of a suspect, who was located a short time later and placed under arrest.

8:10am: A man was arrested at a traffic stop on Milton Road for operating after suspension.

6:56pm: A man was arrested at a traffic stop on Longwood Ave for operating after suspension.

6:03am: A motor vehicle fire occurred on Marion Street. Officers were on scene to support Brookline Fire Department. No injuries were reported.

5:08pm: A man was arrested at a traffic stop on Washington Street for driving with a suspended license.

10:43am: A larceny was reported on Payson Road. A resident stated that lawn furniture was taken from their driveway at some point during the previous day.

12:16pm: A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence on Toxteth Street. The bicycle was taken from the back yard during the previous evening.

10:07am: A woman was arrested at a traffic stop on St. Paul Street for a pre-existing warrant.

2:36pm: A shoplifting occurred at a local business on Harvard Street. Officers noted the description of a possible suspect.

5:10pm: A bike was stolen from a garage on Rangeley Road. The theft occurred earlier in the day, when the bike was unlocked and the garage door was open.

10:57am: A resident reported a past larceny. Several items were stolen from their wallet earlier in May from their office at Brookline Place. The matter is under investigation.

8:29am: A man was arrested at a traffic stop at the intersection of Princeton Road and Newton Street for driving while not duly licensed.

5/7/2016
12:16pm: Two suspects were arrested on outstanding warrants on Harvard Street. The suspects were stopped and interviewed for suspicious activity at a local business when officers learned of the pre-existing warrants.

5:04pm: A shoplifting was reported on Commonwealth Ave. Officers were given a description of a suspect. The matter is under investigation.

10:31am: A man was arrested at a traffic stop near Larz Anderson Park for driving without being duly licensed.

8:12pm: A vehicle was reported broken into on Linden Street, which likely occurred the previous evening. The vehicle was left unlocked and found rummaged through, but no items were reported taken.

9:19pm: Another breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported on Linden Street. The vehicle was left unlocked and change was reported taken. Both of these cases are being investigated.

11:07am: A bike was stolen from a residence on Abbotsford Road. The bike was locked to a porch and went missing at some point over the previous evening.

3:27pm: Officers arrested a shoplifting suspect on Harvard Street. The manager of a local business confronted the suspect as they were leaving the scene, recovered the items, and the suspect returned to the store, where officers found them.

11:42pm: A package was reported stolen from a residence on Egmont Street. A report was taken.

1:19pm: Two people were arrested at a traffic stop on Beacon Street. The vehicle was stopped for blocking a lane. A woman was arrested on a straight warrant and a man was arrested for possession when officers discovered drugs and paraphernalia on his person.

6:38pm: A resident reported their mail stolen from their Boylston Street home. One item was delivered in early March and another in early April, but neither were received by the resident. A report was taken and the matter is being investigated.

8:59pm: A man was arrested at a traffic stop at the intersection of Harvard Street and Green Street. He is being charged with operating after license revocation, Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, and for violations of the open container law.

4:12pm: A mail theft was reported on Heath Street. Envelopes were found torn open with their contents missing. The crime is believed to have occurred in the late morning or early afternoon hours. A report was taken.

6:52pm: A hockey net was stolen from a yard on Strathmore Road. The theft occurred at some point over the previous week. A report was taken.

6:31pm: A man was arrested at the intersection of Longwood Ave and Sewall Ave for a default warrant and driving with a suspended license.

8:58am: The breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported on Middlesex Road. The crime is believed to have occurred the previous evening and there were no signs of forced entry. A report was taken.

1:37pm: A car was reported broken into on Beacon Street. No signs of forced entry were found. A report was taken.

3:12pm: Multiple vehicles were broken into on Circuit Road overnight. These cases are believed to be linked and are under investigation.

7:00pm: A man was arrested at a traffic stop at the intersection of Harvard Street and Green Street for driving with a suspended license.

8:48pm: An employee of a local business on Harvard Street reported the theft of several items from their backpack. A report was taken.
