March 6th 8th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 12:44AM(3/9) – Boylston St/ Tully St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 6:30PM(3/5) and 7:48AM(3/6) – 220 Gerry Rd

The victim reports that upon returning to their vehicle the hood was ajar and the battery had been stolen. The suspect gained access through the front driver side door by prying open the door enough to unlock the lock.

  • Occurred between 4:00PM(3/5) and 7:00AM(3/6) – 15 Gerry Rd

The victim reports that upon returning to the car, it would not start because the battery had been stolen. It is unclear how the suspect gained entrance to the vehicle.

  • Occurred between 7:30PM and 7:50PM(3/6) – 1717 Beacon St

The victim reports that upon returning to their vehicle a bag containing a laptop, iPod and other items was missing. There were no signs of forced entry. Detectives are following up on this case.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 2:30PM(3/6) – 146 Harvard St

Victims report that their wallet and backpack was missing and that they had caught the suspect on tape taking these items. The police were able to identify, locate and arrest the suspect. Some of the items that had been stolen were found.

  • Occurred between 7:00PM and 8:00PM(3/6) – 1383 Beacon St

Victim reports that their wallet was stolen out of their coat pocket which was resting on the back of their chair. The victim was advised to cancel their credit cards.

  • Occurred between 12:30PM and 12:46PM(3/7) – 31 Pleasant St

Victim reports that their purse was stolen. The victim had placed the purse right next to the chair they were sitting in. The victim was advised to cancel their credit cards.

  • Occurred at 6:50PM(3/7) – Harvard St/ Webster St

Victim reports that the suspect fled the store without paying for the items. Detectives are following up on this case.

March 5th Police Reports

Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 7:00PM(3/4) and 7:00AM(3/5) – 33 Leland Rd

Victim reports that upon returning to their car the front bumper was stolen off of it. The radio was also stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 9:30AM and 12:00PM(3/5) – 920 Commonwealth Ave

Victim reports that their wallet was taken from their locker at the gym. The wallet contained several credit cards and a license. The victim was advised to contact their credit card company.

  • Occurred between 3:15PM and 3:30PM(3/5) – 115 Greenough St

Victim reports that they put down a black leather case containing an iPod and two debit cards. A witness said that they saw some other kids in the area of the case and would be able to identify them if they were to see them again.

  • Occurred between 12:00PM(2/26) and 3:54(3/5) – 36 Browne St

Victim reports that many items were taken out of a storage locker in the basement of their building. These items were building supplies and it is believed that the management company may have thrown out some of these items. Detectives are following up on this case.

March 4th Police Report

Assault

  • Occurred at 1:37AM(3/5) – 1648 Beacon St

Victim reports that the suspect got up started walking towards the exit when he grabbed the victim pushed him to the ground and started punching the victim. The victim reports that he did not know the suspect and that the attack was random. The suspect fled the scene shortly after. Detectives are following up on this case.

March 3rd Police Reports

Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 4:00Pm(3/2) and 8:30AM(3/3) – 1200 Beacon St

Victim reports that upon returning to their car the front passenger window had been smashed in. The GPS, which was mounted on the windshield, had been taken.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 5:35PM (3/3) – 312 Harvard St

Victim reports that their wallet was taken out of their bag and the suspect then fled the scene. The suspect has been described as a black male in his late 20’s, wearing baggy jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a small backpack. The victim has been advised to call her credit card companies. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Reported at 5:37PM(3/3) – 20 Webster St

Victim reports that their wallet was taken from their purse in a waiting area. The victim was advised to contact their bank.

March 2nd Police reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 1:00PM and 1:48PM(3/2) – 410 Harvard St

Victim reports that 6 suspects walked into the store and while the victim was in the back room the suspects took the iPhone that was on the cabinet and fled the store. The victim described the suspects as white males, all wearing fedora hats. One of the suspects was older, approximately in his 60’s and the other 5 were in their 20’s. A witness from another store stated that they also went into their store asking for charity. Police are following up on this case.

February 27th- March 1st Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred at 2:00PM(2/27) – Coolidge Corner

During a routine traffic stop the officer found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 2:12AM(2/28) – Chestnut Hill Ave/ Ackers Ave

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving without a license. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 12:05AM(3/1) – Babcock St/ Harvard St

During a routine traffic stop the officer found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

Assault

  • Occurred at 8:15AM(2/27) – 70 Greenough St

Victim reports that while walking down the street three suspects came from behind and began to attack the victim. The three suspects pinned the victim on the ground and attempted to take his money, but the victim resisted. The victim reported the suspects as light skinned males, early 20’s, all around 5’8”. Police are following up on this report.

  • Occurred at 11:15AM(2/28) – Armory St / Dummer St

Victim reports that as they were walking down the street, the suspect punched the victim in the back and continued to walk away. The victim reports the suspect as a black male, 40-50 years old.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 2:00PM(2/18) and 4:00PM(2/27) – 5 Jefferson Rd

Victim reports that upon returning home, several watches, a laptop and cash were missing from their home. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred at 2:26AM(3/23) – 1386 Beacon St

Upon arrival, police officers found that the glass front door had been broken into with a cement block. The victim stated that several pieces of jewelry had been taken. Detectives are following up on this report.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 1:00AM and 10:30AM(3/1) – 142 Coolidge St

Victims report that their bicycles were taken from the front hall of their building. Police are following up on this case.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 12:27AM(2/27) – 27 Heath St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving without a license. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 4:46AM(2/27) – 755 Boylston St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving while under the influence of alcohol. The operator was arrested.

Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle

  • Occurred between 3:15PM and 1:23AM – Brookline Ave/ Aspinwall Ave

Victim reports that upon returning to their vehicle the front passenger window was smashed and the GPS was missing.

Larceny

  • Reported at 10:00AM(2/26) – 1376 Beacon St

Victim reports that their sofa and several boxes of items were taken from the basement of their home. There were no signs of forced entry.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred at 8:45AM(2/26) – Warren St/ Cottage St

Victim reports that while stopped at a stop sign the operator of the vehicle behind the victim got out of the vehicle and came to the victim’s window. The suspect began to scream at the victim and spit on his window. Upon returning to their car the suspect made a scratch on the victim’s rear door. Police were able to identify the subject who will be summonsed to court.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving without a license. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 3:55AM(2/25) – 1356 Beacon St

During a routine traffic stop the officers found that the operator was driving without a license. The operator was arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 1:00PM and 1:30PM(2/24) – 750 Commonwealth Ave

Victim reports that their purse was taken. The purse contained several different forms of identification, credit cards and cash. The victim was advised to call the appropriate agencies and contact their credit card companies.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

Victim reports that a package was stolen from in front of their apartment. Police canvassed the area to see if they could find the package but were unable to. The package was insured through UPS.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 2:41AM(2/22) – Pond Ave/ Jamaica Way

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 6:33 AM(2/22) – 44 Washington St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

Assault

  • Occurred between 9:20PM and 9:28PM(2/20) – 125 Bonad Rd

Victims report that on their return home a group of six suspects started yelling at them. The suspects surrounded the victims, threatened them with a wrench, punched one of the victims and then they fled the scene. Officers are following up on this case.

Victim reports that upon returning to their car a window was smashed and the GPS was missing. The GPS was mounted on the windshield. Detectives are following up on this case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 11:30AM and 11:42AM(2/21) – 1324 Beacon St

Victim reports that the suspect left the store without paying for their items. Police canvassed the area and could not find the suspect. Detectives are following up with this case.

  • Occurred between 5:15PM and 6:50PM(2/18) – 20 Newton St

Victim reports that their iPhone was taken out of a locker in the old Dexter School. Police are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 1:15PM and 1:36PM(2/21) 307 Harvard St

Victim reports that while at lunch their wallet was taken from their purse. The victim was advised to contact their credit card companies and bank. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred at 1:45Pm(2/21) – 1317 Beacon St

Victim reports that their wallet was taken out of their purse which was in their shopping cart. The victim contacted their credit card companies and cancelled them. Detectives are following up on this case.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 12:00PM and 2:00PM(2/19) – Coolidge St/ Clarence St

Victim reports that upon returning to their vehicle the back window appeared to be intact but when the victim shut the door, the back window shattered. It is believed that someone caused this to happen.

  • Occurred between 9:30PM(2/18) and 8:30AM(2/19) – 183 Aspinwall Ave

Victim reports that upon returning to their vehicle the back window appeared to be intact but when the victim shut the door, the back window shattered. It is believed that someone caused this to happen.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 2:49PM (2/19) - 1317 Beacon St

Victim reports that after shopping the victim was returning to their vehicle when they realized their wallet was missing. The wallet was later found by a security guard, only the cash was missing.

  • Occurred between 3:00PM and 5:00PM(2/19) – 791 Hammond St

Victim reports that their laptop was taken from a hallway where they left it. Detectives are following up on this case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 8:00AM and 6:30PM(2/18) – 33Pond Ave

Victim reports that upon returning to their vehicle the GPS and change from the center console were missing. The suspect gained entry into the vehicle by forcing the lock on the passenger side door with a screwdriver. The vehicle could not be processed because it had already been contaminated.

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred at 11:32(2/18) – 1050 Beacon St

When officers responded to a store alarm they found that one of the windows had been smashed in, and the glass door had been smashed near the lock. The victim reports that only a rug had been taken from the store. Detectives are following up on this case.

Assault

  • Occurred at 1:30PM(2/18) – 129 Fisher Ave

Victim reports that while cleaning the bathrooms the suspect came into the bathroom and sexually assaulted the victim. Detectives are following up on this case.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been revoked. The operator was arrested.

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred between 7:15PM and 8:30PM – 219 Harvard St

Victims report that upon returning to their apartment they noticed that an Apple laptop and some change were missing. The point of entry seems to be a window (the apartment is a basement apartment). Detectives are following up with this case.

  • Occurred between 10:40PM(2/13) and 8:44AM(2/14) – 455 Harvard St

Victim reports that upon retuning to the store, the back door was unlocked. Cash was stolen from the cash registers and the safe. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 2:20PM and 3:40PM(2/16) – 593 Heath St.

Victim reports that upon returning to their apartment, a laptop, and several items of jewelry and cell phone were taken. It appears the suspect came through the front door. Detectives are following up on this case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 4:15PM and 5:30PM(2/13) – 17 Glenoe Rd

Victim reports that construction tools were taken from a construction site behind the home. Victim reports that the two suspects were both white males, between the ages of 20-25, both had short dark hair and both were wearing dark clothing like a construction workers clothing. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 2:00PMand 4:15PM(2/12) – 33 Pond Ave

Victim reports that a web camera had been taken from their apartment. No signs of forced entry. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 8:00PM(2/12) and 4:30AM(2/13) – 400 Heath St

Victim reports that upon returning to their room a gold chain had been taken. Police are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 8:10PM and 8:15PM(2/13) - 525 Harvard St

Victim reports that while trying on items their purse was taken from the area. Detectives are following up with the store, for video footage. The victim has been advised to contact their bank to cancel credit cards.

  • Occurred between 7:00AM(2/4) and 2:13PM(2/14) – 1788 Beacon St

Victims report that a camera and a necklace are missing from their apartment, but can not state when they went missing. There are no signs of forced entry.

  • Occurred between 4:00PM(2/14) and 11:15AM(2/15) – 1077 Beacon St

Victim reports that upon returning to their car the front passenger window was smashed in and the portable XM radio was taken which was located on the dashboard.

  • Occurred between 5:00PM(2/13) and 12:00PM(2/14) – 678 Brookline Ave

Victim reports that upon returning to their vehicle the spoiler and the “Audi-inner hub caps” had been taken from the vehicle. Detectives processed the vehicle.

  • Occurred between 2:46PM and 3:46PM(2/16) – 400 Washington St

Victim reports that two suspects left the store without paying for the items. Police officers stopped two subjects fitting the description of the suspects and with further investigation they were arrested.

February 12th Police Reports

Burglary

  • Occurred between 5:15PM and 6:00PM(2/12) – 15 Stearn Rd

Victim reports that upon returning to their apartment the front door was forced open. Police do not know what has been taken from the apartment. Detectives are following up on this case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 7:00Am and 6:27PM (2/12) – 30 Littell Rd

Victim reports that upon returning to their apartment their FedEx package was in the hallway, but had been opened and the contents of the package had been taken.

Assault

  • Occurred at 4:00PM(2/12) – 34 Manchester Rd

There was a road rage incident, in which allegations of a threatening nature were made against a motorist that had failed to pull over far enough to allow another motorist to pass safely. A plate number was obtained and further investigation was conducted resulting in a court complaint for threats being taken out against the culprit.

February 12th Police Reports

February 11th Police reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10:00PM (2/9) and 10:15AM (02/10) – 3 Wellington Terr.

Victim reports that their two bikes were taken from his front porch. The victim did not have these bikes locked to anything.

  • Occurred between 9:59PM and 11:10PM(2/11) – 1309 Beacon St

Victim reports that the suspect tried to leave the store without paying for the items. When the victim confronted the suspect the suspect gave back the items and fled the store leaving a sweatshirt and a cell phone behind. The responding officers were able to identify the suspect from one of the contacts in the phone. The suspect will be summonsed to court.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 8:05PM(02/11) – Buckminster Rd/ Chestnut Hill Ave

While investigating a motor vehicle accident, officers found that one of the operators was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested

Victim reports that the two suspects fled the store without paying for their items. The police canvassed the neighborhood but could not find the suspects. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred at 12:47AM(02/11) – 501 Boylston St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 3:12AM(02/11) – 525 Harvard St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 2:34PM(2/9) – 155 Harvard Ave

Victim reports that the suspect left the store without paying for multiple items. With the description of the suspect the officers were able to find the suspect. Officers then arrested the suspect and the items were returned to the store.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 9:00AM and 6:45PM(2/9) – 1021 Beacon St

Victim reports upon returning to their apartment, the back door had been forced open. The only thing that the victim said was missing was a cell phone. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 11:15AM and 9:30 PM(2/9) – 1021 Beacon St

Victim reports upon returning to their apartment, the front door had been forced open. The victim reports that a laptop, camera and backpack were missing. Detectives are following up on this case.

February 6th-8th Police Report

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10:30 and 12:01PM(2/6) – 920 Commonwealth Ave

Victim reports that their wallet was taken out of their locker while the victim was in the gym. The victim has been advised to contact their bank and their credit card companies.

  • Occurred between 11:30AM and 12:30 PM(2/6) – 29 Harvard Street

Victim reports that their backpack had been taken out of a closet. In their backpack was their wallet with credit cards. The victim contacted the credit card companies to cancel them and there had already been two unauthorized transactions. Detectives are following up with this case.

Burglary

  • Reported at 6:01PM(2/6) – 80 Harvard Ave

Victim reports that upon returning to their apartment they saw that the window was open. When they looked out the window they saw the suspect climbing down the fire escape and fleeing. The suspect entered through an unlocked window. A witness described the suspect as a black male approximately 25 years of age. The suspect took two laptops and jewelry. Detectives are following up with this case.

Attempted Robbery

  • Occurred at 11:00PM(2/6) – 106 Center St

Victim reports that the suspect came up from behind and pushed the victim down onto the ground. The suspect tried to take the victim’s bag but the victim managed to hold on to it. The victim yelled and screamed for help and threw snow at the suspect and the suspect fled. The victim described the suspect as a dark-skinned male, possibly Hispanic, late 20’s, 5’8”, medium build, and brown hair. The victim then went to a pizza place where they called 911. Detectives are following up with this case.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 2:43AM(2/8) – Chestnut Hill Ave/ Channing Rd

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 4:08AM(2/8) – 393 Walnut St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 3:33PM(2/8) – Beacon St/ Ayer Rd

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was not properly licensed. The operator was arrested.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 3:30PM(2/5) – 155 Harvard St

Victim reports that the suspect tried to leave the store without paying. The victim stopped the suspect and called the police. When officers arrived on the scene they arrested the suspect.

  • Occurred between 4:00PM(1/31) and 7:30AM(2/2) – 101 Goddard St

Victim reports that a projector and laptop were taken from a classroom. Officers are following up with this case.

Robbery

  • Occurred at 8:04PM(2/5) – 175 Freeman St

Victim reports that as they were walking across the parking lot three suspects came up, and told the victim to get on the ground. At this point the suspects took the victim’s cell phone and fled the scene. Suspects were described as black males in their mid - late teens. Detectives are doing a follow up on this case.

During a routine traffic stop, officers found that the operator was driving without a license. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 10:22PM(2/4) – Washington St/ Pond Ave

February 2nd Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 6:30PM(2/1) and 6:00AM(2/2) – 47 Hammond Pond Pk

Victim reports upon returning to their car the front bumper was missing which contained the fog lights and headlights. Detectives are following up with this case.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 9:12AM(2/2) – 200 Gardner Rd.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving without a license. The operator was arrested.

January 30th - February 1st Police Reports

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred between 9:45PM and 10:00PM(01/30) – 89 Marion St

Victim reports that when they woke up an unknown person was in their apartment. The suspect then punched the victim and fled out the window they came in. The victim reports that only three dollars from their wallet was missing. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 7:00PM and 11:15PM(01/30) – 33 Lancaster Ter

Victims report that upon returning to their apartment, they noticed that the living room and bedroom had been disturbed. It is believed that the suspect came in through a rear window that was not locked nor had the screen down. Multiple items were taken including a laptop, iPod, and camera. Detectives are following up on this case.

  • Occurred between 11:30PM(01/31) and 7:30AM(2/1) – 455 Harvard St

Victim reports that upon returning to the store, the safe and cash register draws had been broken into. There was no sign of forced entry.

During a routine traffic stop, officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop, officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop, officers found that the operator was driving under the influence. The operator was arrested.

Assault

  • Occurred at 10:46AM(01/31) - Centre St Lot

Victim reports that while waiting for a parking spot, the suspect pulled up behind the vehicle, beeped, got out of the car came to the victim’s window, yelled at the victim and punched the window. The suspect then got back in their car and drove off.

January 28th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Reported at 9:20AM(1/28) – 111 Ivy St

Victims report that several pieces of jewelry are missing out of their home. There is no sign of forced entry. The case is undergoing further investigation.

  • Occurred between 10:00AM(1/25) and 6:00PM(1/28) – 1038 Beacon St

Victim reports that the suspect had been using a credit card number that belonged to someone else. The credit card owner was contacted and has since then cancelled the card.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 1:41AM (1/29) – 142 Fuller St

Victim reports that they heard the glass smash on the basement door. When entering the room they found the suspect who claimed that they heard the noise and came to help. Officers later found that the suspect broke the glass. The suspect was arrested.

Victim reports that a Rane DJ Mixer was taken from the store. No one working heard the display alarm go off.

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred between 2:00PM and 2:18PM(1/27) – 32 Harvard St

Victim reports that upon returning to their car the front passenger window was smashed. A GPS was taken from the vehicle which was sitting on the dashboard.

  • Occurred between 1:30PM and 3:30PM (1/27) – Harvard St/ Harris St

Victim reports that upon returning to their car the front passenger window was smashed. A GPS was taken from the vehicle which was mounted on the windshield.

Arrest

Victim reports that their iPod was taken out of their desk draw. Victim suspects their roommate’s friends who were left alone in the room.

Victim reports that their iPod was taken out of their backpack while it was unattended in what they believed to be a secure room.

January 23rd- 25th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 10:00AM and 11:00AM(01/23) – 294 Harvard St

Victim reports that a store employee reported a possible shoplifting. After officers looked at the surveillance they were able to get descriptions of the three suspects. Officers later caught up with the suspects and arrested them.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 7:18PM(01/23) – 1655 Beacon St

Victim reports that the suspect had come into the victim’s workplace and threatened the victim. The victim then called the police gave a description of the suspect and the direction the suspect went. Officers later found and arrested the suspect.

  • Occurred at 2:14AM(01/24) – 1651 Beacon St

Officers received a concerned call about a drunk driver. The officer followed the car, and after observation pulled the car over. The officer later arrested the operator for driving under the influence.

  • Occurred at 3:22Am (01/25) – Huntington Ave/ So. Huntington Ave

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 1:54AM(01/26) – Harvard St / Beacon St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

Assault

  • Occurred at 10:46PM(01/23) – Washington St/Beacon St

Officer reports that while stopped behind a vehicle at a red light he observed the front passenger get out, open the rear door, and started punching the passenger. The officer then told the front passenger to step away. The front passenger was then arrested for assault and battery.

  • Occurred at 2:06AM(01/24) – Winthrop Rd/Beacon St

Victims report that while walking the suspect continuously threw snowballs at them. When the suspect crossed that road, victims called and reported the suspect. The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault.

Breaking and Entering

  • Occurred between 10:30PM(01/23) and 10:45PM(01/24) – 37 Englewood Ave

The victim reports that overnight their vehicle had been broken into. The passenger window was smashed and the GPS, radio, and Bluetooth, all of which were in plain sight, had been taken. An iPod was also taken.

  • Occurred between 12:30PM and 6:54PM(01/25) – 50 Park St

Victim reports that upon returning to their car, the front passenger window had been broken into. The GPS which was mounted on the windshield had been taken.

January 22nd Police Reports

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 2:50PM(01/22) – 36 High St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving without a license. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 12:32AM(01/23) – 148 Walnut St

Victim reports that the suspect left the taxi without paying his fare. When the victim got out of the taxi and addressed the suspect, the suspect pushed the victim onto the ground. The suspect then punched and broke the passenger window of the taxi and fled the scene. Once the police arrived they searched for the suspect who was subsequently arrested.

Assault

  • Occurred at 12:15PM(01/22) – 146 Harvard St

Victim reports that while walking down the street the suspect approached the victim in a motion of offering a hug. The victim then stopped walking and was punched by the suspect in his waist. The victim did not know this suspect and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was approximately 5’10” 50 years of age and dark skinned.

Theft

  • Occurred between 6:30 PM and 7:40PM – 1183 Beacon St

Victim reports that their car keys got lost on Beacon St. When the victim returned to their car it was gone. The stolen vehicle was reported and entered into NCIC and the victim was advised to change the lock on their home since their house keys were on the same ring as the car keys.

Larceny

  • Occurred at 1:48PM(1/21) – 99 Harvard St

Victim reports that the suspect had come into the store with a bag, placed two packages of diapers, and two curling irons in the bag. The suspect then returned the diapers and fled the scene. Officers are working with the store for any surveillance on the suspect.

Theft

  • Occurred at 4:28PM(1/21) – 76 Kent St

Victim reports that their company motor vehicle had been stolen. Officers were able to track the vehicle using a GPS system. The van was found in Roxbury, but the suspect did not return to the van. Several tools were stolen from the vehicle.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 10:42AM(01/17) – 1388 Beacon St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 12:28(01/18) – 40 Marion St

During a routine traffic stop officers pulled over a revoked vehicle. They arrested the operator for driving after revocation.

  • Occurred at 2:07AM(01/18) – 525 Harvard St

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

  • Occurred at 2:50AM(01/18) – Beacon St/ Hawes St

Officers initially observed a vehicle run a red light and proceed to take an illegal left hand turn. The vehicle stopped briefly and then proceeded to continue down Beacon St. Officers then pulled over the vehicle. They found that the passenger had switched with the operator while they were stopped. The passenger was later arrested for operating under the influence and the operator was arrested for driving after suspension.

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been suspended. The operator was arrested.

Victim reports that the suspect took a piece of jewelry without paying. Police instructed the victim to call the police if the suspect comes back again.

Victim reports that their key to their car had been taken from the front desk of their gym.

  • Occurred between 10:35AM and 11:35AM – 2 Brookline Pl

Victim reports that their purse was taken from behind the counter. The purse contained keys, a cell phone and a wallet. The victim was advised to get in contact with their bank and credit card companies.

  • Occurred between 10:30PM(01/19) and 12:00AM(01/20) – 15 Egmont St

Victim reports that several articles of clothing were taken out of the dryers of the common laundry room.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 6:00AM(01/16) and 5:45PM(01/17) – 282 Cypress St

Victim reports that their credit card and cash were taken from their wallet located in their apartment. The victim was advised to cancel the credit card.

Victim reports that the suspect came in to the store to look at a piece of jewelry. When the victim set down the jewelry on the counter, the suspect took it and left the store. Officers will follow up to look at store surveillance.

  • Occurred between 7:15PM and 7:20PM(01/14) – 1228 Boylston St

Victim reports that while at a bar, the suspect bumped into the victim causing their wallet to fall out of their purse. The victim realized five minutes later that their wallet was gone. Victim was advised to contact their credit card companies.

Arrest

During a routine traffic stop officers found that the operator was driving after their license had been revoked. The operator was arrested.

Robbery

Victim reports that their motor vehicle was stolen from their parking lot.

Arrest

During a routine traffic stop, officers found that the operator was driving after their license was suspended. The operated was arrested.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 7:30AM and 3:00PM(01/13) – 5 South St

Victim reports that upon their return to their home, the back door had been broken into. Several items were taken including jewelry, cash, traveler’s checks and personal checks.

January 12th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 2:00PM and 2:44PM(01/12) – 23 Parkman St

Victims report that their mail had been taken out of the lobby of their building. Two suspects rang the doorbell claiming to be the cleaning crew. One of the tenants let them in, but after 20 minutes of not hearing anything going on in the hallway the tenant checked the hallway and the two suspects and the pile of mail were gone. Tenants were advised to do credit card checks.

  • Occurred between 7:50AM and 6:00PM(01/12) – 55 Gerry Rd

Victims report that money was stolen from their apartment. There were no signs of forced entry.

  • Occurred at 6:36PM(01/12) – 525 Harvard St

A loss prevention officer notified police of a shoplifting incident. When they arrived on scene they questioned and arrested the suspect.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 5:00PM(01/11) and 7:30AM(01/12) – 35 Gerry Rd

Victim reports that when they went to park in their assigned spot there was already a vehicle parked there. The victim parked in the spot next to that one. When the victim returned to the vehicle the next morning there was a note stating not to park in other people’s spots, along with multiple scratches to his passenger door. Police are following up on this investigation.

Disorderly Person

  • Reported on (01/12) – 1450 Beacon St

Victim reports that between 7:00AM and 7:15AM sometime last month a suspect was looking into the victim’s window while the victim was changing. The victim didn’t get a good look at the suspect. There was a similar case last week when a suspect was climbing on fire escapes and peeping into windows. The police would like to advise citizens to keep their blinds down and if they see any suspicious activity such as this to call the police and stay on the line until they get there.

January 9th- 11th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 3:00PM(01/08) and 8:00AM(01/09) - Pleasant St/ Freeman St

Victim reports that tools were taken out of his tool shed. There was no evidence of forced entry.

  • Occurred between 9:00AM and 9:45AM(01/09) - 1581 Beacon St

Victim reports that her cell phone and cell phone charger were taken from a table in the victim’s work place. Witnesses say they saw a suspicious man in the building earlier that morning, going through coat pockets in the waiting area. Police are working with the witnesses for further information on the suspect.

  • Occurred between 10:10AM and 10:15AM(01/09) – 115 Greenough St

Victim reports that while away from their backpack for 5 minutes their cell phone was taken from the bag.

  • Occurred between 9:00AM and 6:19PM(01/09) – 1 Pond Ave

Victim reports that upon returning to their car, the front passenger window had been smashed. The GPS and power cord was taken which had been left in its mount on the windshield with the power cord still plugged in.

Arrest

  • Occurred at 11:55AM(01/09) – Kent St

During a traffic stop police officers arrested an operator for driving without a license.

  • Occurred at 12:49AM(12/12) - 195 High St

While on patrol officers came to a vehicle that had crashed into a parked car and was perpendicular to the road. After further investigation the operator was taken to the hospital and summonsed to court for operating under the influence.

Robbery

  • Occurred at 7:48PM(01/09) – 74 Babcock St

Victim reports while walking the suspect ran up behind her and took their purse and continued running. In the victim’s purse were several forms of identification, cash and credit cards. Police later located the purse a few blocks away, the wallet was missing. Police are working with the victim for a further description on the suspect.

  • Occurred at 7:44PM(01/10) – Babcock St/ Manchester St

Victim reports that while walking the suspect ran up from behind and took their purse and continued running. When police arrived they canvassed the neighborhood for the suspect but could not find the suspect. Upon trying to call the cell phone an uninvolved citizen answered and led police back to victim’s belongings. Everything was found except for the cash. Detectives took a few items into custody for further investigation.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 6:00PM(01/10) and 11:30AM(01/11) – 126 Chestnut St

Victim reports that upon returning to their car there was a large scratch on the driver side door similar to a previous scratch. Police are going to follow up with the possible suspects.

Assault

  • Occurred at 5:07PM(01/11)-525 Harvard St

Victim reports that while walking on Harvard St a confrontation broke out because the suspect had bumped into the victim while passing. The suspect then punched the victim but the victim and a friend in return held down the suspect until they could call police and the police arrived on the scene. The suspect was summonsed to court for assault.
