Officers responded to a report of package theft where the delivery driver is seen dropping off the packages and then later returning and stealing them. 

SHOPLIFTING 

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting from a store on Beacon Street. 

FRAUD

Officers received a report of check fraud where the reporting party deposited a check and was notified of it being washed. 

FRAUD

Officers responded to a report of fraud from a hotel. The reporting party stated that the hotel found out that someone had hacked their email and was defrauding customers in their name. 

MV THEFT

Officers responded to a report of motorcycle theft from a residence on High Street. 

SHOPLIFTING 

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Commonwealth Avenue.

BURGLARY

Officers responded to a report of a burglary from a screened in porch on High Street.

Officers responded to a report of a past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle over the night of 5/12 on Winchester Street. 

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of package theft from multiple residents from a building on Winchester Street.

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting from the Target on Commonwealth Avenue. 

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to a report of a possible breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from Somerset Road. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Harvard Street.

Friday, May 15

IDENTITY FRAUD

Officers received a report of identity fraud, where the reporting was told that someone hacked their bank accounts. 

SCAM 

Officers responded to a report of a masonry scam on Beresford Road. 

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Officers responded to a report of malicious damage on a front door on Sherman Road. 

FOUND PROPERTY

Officers found a Apple iPhone on the sidewalk at the intersection of Boylston St and Warren St. The property is at the Brookline Police Station for safekeeping.

Saturday, May 16

DOG BITE

Officers responded to a report of a dog bite where two dogs were playing at Larz Anderson Park and one got bit.

LOST PROPERTY

Officers responded to a report of a unlocked vehicle that had been running for hours with the key in the ignition, which they located and turned off. Officers locked the car and took the keys, which are located at the Brookline Police Department for safekeeping.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Harvard Street.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Commonwealth Avenue. 

ANIMAL BITE

Officers responded to a report of an animal bite, where a child was bitten by a dog at Brookline Avenue Playground and Field. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Boylston Street.
