Thursday, June 6th

1:08PM: An officer was informed by a Brookline Park Ranger that a dog bite had occurred on June 4th. The reporting party stated that at 10:30AM she was on running on Cypress Street when she approached Rice Street. There was a small black dog with long black hair, possibly a Scottish terrier breed, at the intersection. The reporting party claimed that her running approach towards the dog may have scared the dog, and caused the dog to jump up and bite her. The reporting party discovered she was injured when she arrived home. To ensure her safety a human exposure form was sent to the Brookline Heath Department. 

3:35PM: Officers were dispatched to Harvard Street for a found mobile phone. The item was found at the bottom of the Pierce School stairs. The phone was locked with a pass code and had no emergency contact information. The item is described as a white Google brand Smartphone in a 2-piece Otterbox case. The item was place into evidence for safe keeping. 

3:38PM: Police responded to Brook Street for a report of a stolen bike. The reporting party claimed that he locked his bicycle to the bike rack outside Brookline High School on June 6th at 2:50PM. When he returned at 3:30PM, his bike was missing. Officers in the area noticed a teen riding a bicycle that matched the description. The male admitted to stealing the bike in order to get home. The bicycle was returned to the owner. The male was summonsed to court for larceny. 

6:49PM: Officers were dispatched to Linden Street for a stolen package. On June 5th, a package was supposed to be delivered at 4PM. The package contained a pair of unknown sneakers valued at $50. The reporting party stated that the package was opened and the contents taken. Police are investigating.  

11:10PM: Police responded to Monmouth Court for a report of found property. The reporting party found a pair of glasses on the Carlton Path. The glasses have been submitted to evidence for safe keeping.
