June 10^th

An officer was monitoring traffic on Lagrange Street noticed a vehicle making an illegal U-turn. The officer stopped the vehicle and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle without a license.

Police responded to a report of shop lifting. The subject was placed under arrest.

An officer conducted a random query of a vehicle. The officer stopped the vehicle and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. 

6/5/2015-6/9/'2015

On June 5, 2015 an officer was dispatched to Walnut Place for a report of identity theft by attempting to file taxes under the resident’s name.  This matter is still under investigation.

On June 5, 2015, an officer was dispatched to the Brookline Police Department for a walk in larceny report. The victim reported his bike and lock stolen which was attached to a parking meter on Pearl Street. This matter is still under investigation.

On June 7^th at 1:35am an officer was conducting a traffic stop at Boylston street for a vehicle speeding. The officer observed the vehicle swerving lanes. Based on the evidence at the scene the subject was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest.

On June 7^th at 12:19am a vehicle was reported broken into. Some personal property was stolen from the vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

On June 7^th at 9:00 PM an officer responded to a report of suspicious activity. Officer spoke to a home owner who noticed windows were cut open. The home owner decided to file a police report, this matter is still under investigation.

On June 8^th at 12:43 AM an officer conducted a random query of a vehicle. Upon doing so the officer noticed the operator’s license was suspended. The officer pulled over the vehicle and arrested the defendant.

On June 8^th, 2015 an officer assigned to the front desk of the Brookline Police Headquarters, received a report that a victims bicycle was stolen in front of a garage. The bicycle was locked in to a bike rack. This matter is still under investigation.

On June 9^th 2015, an officer responded to a burglary on Pleasant Street.  The house was going under renovation and the owner was noticed that door was kicked in. The contractor working on the house noticed that several of the company’s tools were missing. This matter is still under investigation.

An officer was conducting overnight parking enforcement and noticed a light was left on in a vehicle. The officer observed the glove box to be open and rummaged through. This matter is still under investigation.

April 10^th

An officer noticed a vehicle speeding along Lee and Clyde Street. The officer asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.

Police responded to a report of a traffic accident on Boylston Street. One of the vehicles fled the scene. Later an officer noticed a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction as well as some damage to the vehicle. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. Based on the evidence at the scene, the driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.  

April 11^th

The suspect broke into the garage by brute forcing through the door. The victim said that the suspect could have gained entrance by shaking the door to unlock the screw locking the door. The suspect stole a bike with a light brown saddle and belt-drive propulsion system. The victim’s bike was later recovered.

April 12^th

An officer noticed a vehicle traveling at a high speed along Boylston Street. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
