09/14/2020-09/19/2020

 09/13/2020- Officers took a report for graffiti on a Town of Brookline utility box. 

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Bowker St for a stolen Bike.  The resident reported to Officers that the bike was left in their back yard, and when they went to retrieve it in the morning the bike was gone.

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of University Ave. for Identity Theft.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a report from a credit agency that someone had used their information to apply for a disaster relief loan.

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from Crowninshield Rd.  The resident reported to the Officers that they had two cars parked in the drive way and at some point they were both rummaged through. 

09/14/2020- Officers responded to Welland Rd to take a report of a bike theft.  The resident reported to Officers that some point overnight a bike was removed from underneath their porch.

09/14/2020-  Officers took a report for a stolen purse from TJ Maxx on Harvard St.  The victim reported that they had their purse stolen from the checkout area of TJ Maxx.

09/14/2020- Officers took an identity theft report from a resident of Clark Rd.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received mail from the Unemployment Office that they did not file for. 

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from Crowninshield Rd.  The resident reported to the Officers that they had two cars parked in the drive way and at some point they were both rummaged through. 

09/14/2020- Officers took a report for a resident of Freeman St.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received an email from their employers Human Resource Office regarding an unemployment claim they had not filed.

09/14/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from a resident of Elba St.  The resident reported that two of their cars had been rummaged through and items taken during the night.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from Park Vale.  The resident reported that they had parked their car in the lot of their building.  When they went to the car in the morning they noticed that the car was open and the inside had been rummaged through and items missing.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report form a resident of Hurd Rd.  The resident reported to officers that they parked their bike behind their building on 9/1 and when they went to retrieve it on 9/14 the bike was gone.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from a resident of Pearl St.  The resident reported that their bike was stolen from outside of the building sometime between 09/10 and 09/12.

 09/15/2020- Officers responded to Walgreens on Harvard St for a report of a shoplifting.  The Officers spoke to employees who reported that two customers had been seen attempting to conceal items without purchasing.   Both parties were identified and summonsed into court.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report for identity theft from a resident of Boylston St.  The resident reported to Officers that they received a letter from the Commonwealth regarding Unemployment assistance that they did not apply for.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report for identity theft from a resident of Babcock St.  The resident reported to Officers that they received their information from their employer regarding Unemployment assistance that they did not apply for.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from Auburn Pl.  The resident reported to Officers that their bike was on the side of their house, and when they went to retrieve it the bike was gone.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report of identity theft from a resident of Rawson Rd.   The resident reported that their employer made them aware that there had been an unemployment claim using their information.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report of identity theft from a resident of Thorndike St.  The resident reported to Officers that they received letters from the Commonwealth regarding Unemployment assistance that they did not apply for.

09/16/2020- Officers responded to Cypress St to take a report of malicious damage.  The victim reported to Officers that their car was parked on Cypress St. When they returned to their vehicle someone had vandalized the car windows.

09/16/2020- Officer took a report for package theft from a resident of Thatcher St.  The resident reported to Officers that they had a package in the vestibule of their building. The package was found to be opened and the contents inside had been taken.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from Harvard St.  The victim reported to Officers that while at the playground at the Coolidge Corner School they left their bike leaning against a picnic table while utilizing the park.  When they returned the bike was gone.

09/16/2020- Officers responded for an unwanted person at the Holiday Inn on Beacon St.  The building is currently under construction and there should be no one besides employees/construction crew within the building.  The employees reported to Officers that the unwanted person is known to them had been informed in the past that they are not to be in the building. The officers located the unwanted person, who was found to also have a “No Trespass” order on them.  The male was placed under arrest for multiple charges.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen wallet out of Beacon St.  The victim reported to Officers that while at Trader Joes her wallet had been taken from their shopping cart.

09/17/2020- Officers took a report for malicious damage to a vehicle on High St.  The victim reported that they had their car parked on High St.  When they returned to the vehicle their windshield wipers had been ripped off the car.

09/17/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Naples Rd.  The resident reported to officers that they had received a suspicious call from an unknown number who told them they were from the Mass State Police.  The resident was told that their identity had been stolen and the only way to clear it up was to transfer money.

09/18/2020- Officers responded to Salisbury Rd to take a report for Graffiti.  The resident reported spray paint along their fence.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Clark Rd.  The resident reported they were made aware of a fraudulent unemployment claim form their employers Human Resource Department.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Carlton St. The resident reported that they noticed some fraudulent activity on their credit report.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report form a resident of Leland Rd.  The resident reported that someone had been making unauthorized credit card and banking transactions under their name.   

09/18/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Sewall Ave.  The resident reported that they received an alert that a package had arrived for them. When they went to retrieve it the package had been opened and the contents were stolen.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Clark Court.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a notification from their employers Human Resource Department of a claim filed for unemployment in their name.

09/18/2020- Officers took a report from Trader Joes on Beacon St regarding a theft of a purse.  The victim reported to officers that they had their purse in the shopping cart, they turned around to look for a product and their purse was taken.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of Baker Circle.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a letter from the Commonwealth regarding an unemployment claim that they did not file.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Corey Rd.  The resident reported that they were made aware of fraudulent charges to their credit card. 

09/18/2020- Officers took a report for a break and enter to a motor vehicle on Russell St.  The resident reported that their car was parked in the driveway and the car had been rummaged through.

09/19/2020- Officers took a report of graffiti from the Brookline High School on Greenough St.  The employee of the school reported to officers that sometime overnight someone had spray painted the side of the building.

09/19/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of Shaw Rd.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a notification from their employers Human Resource Department of a claim filed for unemployment in their name.

09/19/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of Clinton Rd.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a notification from their employers Human Resource Department of a claim filed for unemployment in their name.

09/19/202- Officers took a report for a bike theft from a resident of Longwood Ave.   The resident reported that the bike was in the basement of the residence and had been removed.

09/19/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of Juniper St.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a letter from the Commonwealth regarding an unemployment claim that they did not file.

09/14/2020

 

09/10/2020- Officers took a fraud report form a resident of Freeman St.  The victim reported to Officers that they received a call from an unknown party claiming to be with a government agency.  The victim also reported that he unknown caller threated the caller if they did not send money to them.

 

09/10/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident of Crowninshield Rd.   The resident informed Officers that they received a letter in the mail stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information.

 

09/11/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident on Beacon St.  The resident reported to the Officers that they got a delivery confirmation from FedEx. When they went to retrieve the package, it had be stolen.

 

09/11/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident of Beacon St.   The resident informed Officers that they received an email from their employer stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information without their knowledge.

09/11/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Francis St for a larceny report.  The resident reported to Officers that sometime overnight someone had entered their garage and stole items.

09/11/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Euston St.  The resident reported to Officers that they had multiple packages that were stolen out of the foyer of the building.

09/11/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident of Beacon St.   The resident informed Officers that they received a suspicious letter in the mail regarding unemployment assistance however had not applied for any assistance. 

 

09/11/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from Webster St.   The resident informed Officers that they received a letter in the mail stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information.

09/11/2020- Officers took a larceny report from a resident of Washington St.  The resident reported to Officers that someone had stolen their grill from their property. 

 

09/12/2020- Officers responded to a residence on Aspinwall Ave for a report of a Break and Entry.   Upon arrival the Officers spoke to the resident who reported hearing someone attempting to gain entry into their residence. This is still under investigation.

 

09/12/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Little Rd.  The resident reported to Officers that they were attempting to sell an item online.  An unknown party to them sent a check to purchase the item, however they sent the check for more money than the asking price.  The unknown party then asked the victim to forward money to another account from the check.

09/12/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle form Thorndike St.   The resident reported to the Officers that their bicycle was taken from their shed sometime overnight.

 

 

 

 

 

09/08/2020-09/09/2020

09/08/2020- Officers took a report form a resident of Naples Road for stolen bicycle parts.  The resident stated that the bike was locked to the front porch rail and when they went to retrieve the bicycle the rims and tires were missing.

09/08/2020- Officers took fraud report from a resident of Longwood Ave.  The resident reported to the Officers that someone used their information an opened a T-Mobil account without their knowledge.

09/08/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud.   The resident informed Officers that they received a letter in the mail stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information.

09/08/2020- Officers responded to Worthington Rd to take a report for a past larceny.  The resident informed Officers that they found multiple items, including bicycles, had been stolen out of their locked garage.

09/08/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident on Ivy St.  The resident informed Officers that they received a letter regarding an unemployment claim that was filed using their information.

09/08/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen vehicle from a resident of Ivy St.  The resident stated they came home from being away to find their car was stolen from their driveway.

09/02/2020- Officers responded to Fisher Ave for a report of an assault on an Uber driver.  The diver reported to Officers that their fare had become aggressive towards them during the transport.  The Uber driver pulled over on Fisher Ave to call for help.  The male passenger will be summonsed into court for the Assault charges.

09/09/2020- Officers responded to Beacon St to take a report for a past larceny.  The reporting party informed Officers that they parked their bicycle in the rear of the building on Beacon St.  Attached to the bike was a bag containing multiple personal items.  When the reporting person returned to the bike, the bag that was attached to the bike was missing.

09/09/2020- Officers responded to Beacon St to take a report for a stolen moped.  The reporting party informed the Officers that their moped was parked in front of their building with a chain lock preventing it from being driven, when they looked out their window this morning the moped was gone.

09/09/2020- - Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident on Beacon St.  The resident informed Officers that they received a letter regarding an unemployment claim that was filed using their information.

 

09/09/2020- Officers took a report from a business on Station St.  The owner of the business reported someone entered and stole items from the store overnight. The case is still under investigation.

9-5- thru 9-7-2020

 

On 09/07/2020, Officers responded to the Brookline Police Station to take a stolen license plate report. The victim reports  she left her apartment and went to Star Market in Boston. When she arrived to the store she noticed that he license plate was missing.  A report was filed.

 On 09-07-2020 a resident of  Lyon Road for contacted the Brookline Police to report a B&E of a motor vehicle. The victim reports his vehicles were parked in his driveway and someone had rummaged thru the center console. A report has been filed.

On 09-7-2020, Officers responded to the police station to take a report of identity theft. The victim   received a letter in the mail from the Department of Unemployment Assistance stating he recently filed a claim for unemployment, yet he did not file this claim as he is still employed.  A report was filed.

On 09-07-2020 a resident of Heath St. called the Brookline Police to report that someone entered his vehicle over night, but that he doesn't believe anything was taken. The contents of his center console and glove box had been emptied onto the front seat. A report was filed and Detectives notified.

On 09-07-2020 a resident of Heath St contacted the Brookline Police to report a B&E of a motor  vehicle.  The victim reports he parked his car in his driveway and when he went to go out in his car this morning he noticed that his vehicle had been entered and the contents of the center console and glove box had been emptied out on to the front seat. He immediately called the police and did not touch the contents of the vehicle.  He said by looking at the items he noticed that a few things were missing. A report was filed and the Detectives were notified.

On 9/4/2020 While working a private detail on Beacon Street a Brookline Officer was approached by anonymous resident of  Webster Street who wished to report possible public consumption of marijuana. The Officer located the subject in question and advised the person about local laws concerning marijuana consumption.

On 09/06/2020,Officers responded to an address on  Brook Street for a report of a suspicious male going through private backyards. Brookline Control gave out a description of the suspect as a white male, lean build, bushy beard wearing a red t-shirt, dark colored shorts and a backpack. The Officers canvassed the area and located the subject in question. During the investigation it was discovered the subject had 4 outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was additionally charged with M.G.L. 266 § 120 - Trespassing on Private Property.  He was placed into custody and transported to the Brookline Police Station.

On 09-6-2020 Officers responded to an address on St. Paul Street for a report of bicycle tire theft. The victim reports he saw his bicycle locked to the pole just outside his building and it was intact.  This afternoon at approximately 1500 hours he exited his building and found that his bicycle was missing both tires and the seat.  He located the seat in the park next to his building, close to Amory Street, but was unable to locate the tires.  The tires were from a Specialized brand bike and had an approximate value of $100. A report was filed and the detectives were notified.

On 09/06/2020 Officers took a report for lost or stolen property. The reporting party last saw her beige bag when she was at a location on Harvard St. A report has been filed.

On 09/5/2020 Officers took a report for a B &E&L of a motor vehicle which occurred in the rear of a residence on  Naples Rd. The victim stated that she parked her vehicle, in the rear at approximately 1800hrs on 9/4/20.  On 9/5/20 around 1600hrs she noticed several items missing from the rear of the vehicle including a Coach bag , Coach shoes and various items of clothing. Additionally a Louis Vuitton Wallet was taken.  A report was filed and Detectives were notified.

September 2, 2020

2:00 PM: An individual leaving a marijuana dispensary on Washington St was walking in the area of Washington St and White Pl when two individuals ran past her. While running past her, one individual reached out and grabbed the victim's bag of products before continuing down White Pl. A third individual then walked past the victim and began running down White Pl before all three suspects got into a vehicle and fled. The victim informed an officer on detail at the marijuana dispensary of the incident. A description of the suspects and the vehicle was broadcast and a short time later they were stopped on Cypress St. After further investigation all three suspects were placed under arrest for the joint venture of Unarmed Robbery.

2:55 PM: A retail establishment on Washington St reported a shoplifter had just fled the store after concealing merchandise in his backpack. The suspect was stopped a short distance away and was subsequently placed under arrest for Shoplifting as well as three warrants issued by various courts.

 9:41 AM: Officers were in the area of Commonwealth Av when they observed an individual known be a frequent shoplifter. When checking his criminal history it was discovered that the individual had a warrant for his arrest. The individual was arrested without incident.

8:55 PM: Officers responded to a residence on Tappan St for a report of a man inside a backyard and whistling at the resident through a window. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

August 25, 2020

7:20 AM: Officers responded to a business on Harvard St for a shoplifting in progress. Staff reported the suspect concealed merchandise in reusable bags and fled the store when confronted. A report was taken.

2:06 PM: An officer took a report for a stolen bike. The bike was locked in the common basement area of a residence on Longwood Av where entry is for residents only. The bike was stolen sometime over a span of a day. 

2:07 PM: An officer took a report for stolen bikes. Two bikes stored in the garage of a residence on Aspinwall Av were stolen sometime over a span of two days. 

8:17 PM: An officer took a report for a stolen bike. The bike was stored in an unsecured garage at a residence on Harrison St. The bike was stolen sometime between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

At approximately 7 PM officers were dispatched to High Street to take a stolen bicycle report. Once on scene officers met with the reporting party who told police that her son's bicycle had been stolen off their front porch. She provided police with a description of the bike. Officers are investigating.

07/21/20

At approximately 8:57 PM officers were dispatched to Harvard Street to take a report for new graffiti that was discovered on the property. Once on scene officers met with the reporting party who showed officers a green five pointed star, surrounded by a circle painted on the floor of the front lobby. Officers are investigating

07/10 - 07/14

07/10/20

At approximately 5:20 PM officers made phone contact with residents on Beacon Street to take a report of a theft. The victim told police that they were subletting their apartment while they were away in January, and had been experiencing issues collecting monthly rent from their sublet. These issues continued until recently when the suspect abruptly left, taking two nightstands and a bed frame with them. Police are investigating the theft.

07/11/20

BPD assisted EMS/Fire with 6 different calls for service

07/12/20

At approximately 7:05 PM officers were dispatched to Pleasant Street to take a report for an attempt to steal a bicycle. Once on scene, officers met with the reporting party who relayed the following information:

The victim left their bicycle locked, attached to a street sign on Pleasant street and approximately 5 minutes prior to calling the police had witnessed a white male attempt to cut his lock off his bike to steal it. The victim confronted the suspect and caused him to flea the scene.

Officers attempted to locate the suspect but with no success. Investigation is ongoing.

07/13/20

At approximately 12:15 pm officers took a report of a stolen bicycle on Babcock street over the phone. The reporting party told police the following: The previous night they left their bike unlocked on their front porch, and when they left their home the next morning it was missing. The victim also reported an abandoned bike that was left on his neighbors lawn that did not belong to them.

Officers are investigating.

07/06 - 07/07

07/06/20

Officers were dispatched to Vernon street for a report of an attempted B&E. Dispatch provided officers with a description of the suspect and told officers that they were last seen in a white vehicle. At approximately 7:10 AM officers observed an individual matching the description acting suspiciously, walking from door to door on Vernon street. The officers decided to wait and observe the suspects actions before making contact. The suspect then stopped on one front porch, and placed a few small porcelain vases into a backpack. They then returned to their vehicle and drove off. After witnessing this crime, officers made contact and stopped the vehicle.

During the traffic stop the backpack containing the stolen vases was discovered on the passenger seat. The suspect told police that the vases belonged to a friend. Officers made contact with the victim and told them what had just happened. They confirmed that they were indeed missing vases off their front porch, and confirmed that the ones in the possession of the suspect were the missing items. Because of this fact, the suspect was placed under arrest for larceny and attempted B&E.

After her arrest, a bike was discovered in the backseat of her vehicle, which was later reported stolen to BPD by another Brookline resident. The second victim also told police that her car was broken into and money stolen as well. Because of this, the suspect faces more charges in addition to the original ones.

Officers took report of a stolen bicycle from Harvard Avenue. The victim provided officers with a description of the bike and last time she saw it. Officers are investigating.

Officers assisted EMT/Fire with 6 separate calls for service.

At approximately 8:26 AM officers were dispatched to Babcock St to take a report of a stolen bicycle. Once on scene officers met with the reporting party who gave police a description of the bike and the approximate value of it. Officers are investigating.

07/03/20

BPD assisted EMT/Fire with 5 different incidents

07/04/20

At approximately 4:48 PM officers were dispatched to Cypress Street for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Once on scene officers met with the reporting party who told police the following: The RP had pulled up to an apartment building to make a delivery to the lobby, he left his car idled with the keys in the ignition outside. When the RP returned to his vehicle it was gone. Officers are investigating.

07/05/20

At approximately 8:20 AM Officers were dispatched to Harvard Street for a report of a car that has been broken into. Once on scene officers met with the reporting party who told the police the following: They had parked their car overnight at a nearby business the night before, and when returning to their vehicle the next morning they discovered a shattered window and the car showing signs of being searched. Officers are investigating.

At approximately 9:30 PM officers responded to a report of malicious vehicle damage on Harvard Avenue. Once on scene, officers met with the reporting party who told police that when he went out to his vehicle he discovered his tires had been slashed. Officers are investigating.

07/1/20
At approximately 9 AM officers were dispatched to an apartment complex on Seawall Avenue for multiple reports of stolen packages. Once on scene officers were able to identify three separate victims who had their packages stolen. The packages were all cut open and left in the lobby with the valuable items removed. Officers are investigating.

06/26 - 06/29

06/26/20 -
At approximately 1:26 AM officers were dispatched to Armory street for a report of a suspicious person. The victim told dispatch that he was awoken by a white male attempting to enter his garage via the door, but was unsuccessful due to the door being locked. Rather than confronting the intruder, the victim kept quiet and dialed 911 while getting an accurate description of the suspect.

Officers were on scene in under 3 minutes after receiving the call and located a male matching the description a couple blocks away. Officers made contact with this individual who was advised of his Miranda Rights prior to questioning. The suspect told police that he was not on any ones property but was just in the park across the street from the victims home. The suspect has 129 entries on his board of probation record, 42 of which were "successful" B&Es that he was convicted for.

BPD then conducted a field lineup, where the victim confirmed the identity of the suspect while remaining anonymous in a BPD cruiser. Following the lineup, the victim was certain that the suspect was the same individual that he saw on his property.

Based on the totality of the circumstances, the suspect was placed under arrest for Attempted B&E with intent to commit a felony.

06/27/20 -
Officers assisted EMT/Fire with 8 different incidents.

06/28/20 -
At approximately 4:19 AM, an off duty BPD officer was awoken by the sound of two individuals attempting to steal a moped outside their home on Beacon Street.

After witnessing this from their window, using their department issued radio the officer reported the crime in progress to dispatch. The suspects noticed that they were being watched from the window, and attempted to flee on a small motorized bike.

Officers were on scene minutes later, and quickly began to follow the motorbike with lights activated attempting to stop them. The suspects refused to stop and began driving erratically, going down wrong way streets and eventually broke line of sight. Because of this dangerous behavior, the pursuing officer disabled his lights, and told other officers not to pursue if they located the suspects.

A short time later, officers found the suspects and witnessed them nearly strike two vehicles before exiting Brooklines jurisdiction, and moving into Boston via Huntington Avenue. Officers are investigating.

06/24 - 06/25

06/24/20 - Officers took report of a car that was broken into from the victim at the front desk. The car was parked on Oakland road, and at approximately 9AM the reporting party noticed that 15 dollars worth of rolled quarters was missing from her vehicle. Officers are investigating.

06/24/20 - Officers took report of fraud out of Addington road. The victim was sold fake jewelry from an unknown party he met on the street. Officers are investigating.

 06/25/20 - Officers took report of a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles. After speaking to all three parties, their stories all described a similar accident. MV-1 was stopped at a red light on Boylston st, MV-2 was stopped behind MV-1. At this time MV-3 was approaching behind both vehicles and due to glare from the sun, did not notice they were stopped and rear ended MV-2, which caused MV-2 to impact MV-1. No injuries were reported.

06/22 - 06/23

06/22/22 - At approximately 6:40 PM Officers were dispatched to Park Street to take report of a stolen vehicle. Once on scene officers met with the victim who showed police her designated parking spot where she last parked her vehicle. Police contacted all local towing agencies with no success. Investigation is on going.

06/22/22 - Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle over the phone on Crowninshield Road. Police are investigating.

06/22/22 - Officers took report of credit card fraud over the phone. Police are investigating.

06/23/22 - At approximately 3 AM officers were dispatched to Washington Street to a reported vehicle crashed into a pole. Once on scene officers identified the vehicle with heavy front end damage, wrapped around a pole. The driver received several superficial abrasions, while the passenger required medical attention.

The vehicle was completely totaled in the crash and needed to be towed off scene. Prior to towing the vehicle, an inventory of the car was conducted. Immediately after starting the inventory search of the vehicle, officers identified illegal fireworks strewn about the interior. Noticing these fireworks, further searching resulted in officers discovering dealer amounts of narcotics and an illegal firearm.

The suspect was then placed in handcuffs and brought to BKPD headquarters for booking.

06/17-6/20

06/17/22- At approximately 7:38 PM officers responded to a report of an abandoned motorized scooter on Griggs road. The scooter showed signs of being stolen, as there was exposed wires surrounding the ignition. The owner has not yet been identified, further investigation is ongoing.

06/17/22 Officers took a report of credit card fraud at BKPD headquarters. Investigation is ongoing

06/18/22- Officers received report of credit card fraud on Park street.

06/18/22- Officers took report of a motor vehicle accident between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The incident occurred on Thorndike Street, no serious injuries reported.

06/19/22- On Friday the 19th there was 13 total reported incidents of vehicles being broken into around Brookline. Several of these incidents happened around the area of Kent Street early Friday morning in the same parking lot. There was also reports in the area of Boylston Street and Alton Place. Further investigation is on going.

06/19/22- Officers responded to a report of a fight between two dogs on Beacon Street. No serious injuries were reported and the animals were successfully separated by the owners.

06/20/22- Officers were dispatched to Hammond Pond Parkway at approximately 10 AM for a report of malicious vehicle damage. The victim showed officers her car which appeared to have a key scratch along the drivers side. Investigation is on going.

06/20/22- At approximately 1 PM officers were dispatched to Cleveland road to take custody of lost personal items including an I Phone and some currency. Officers were able to identify the rightful owner and they were instructed to retrieve their property at BKPD headquarters

06/05/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen Bike off of Washington St.  The victim stated that the bike was removed from their yard sometime between Monday and Wednesday.

06/05/2020- Officers took 5 reports for unemployment fraud from residents on Washington St, Catlin Rd, Aspinwall Ave, Naples Rd and Brook St.

06/06/2020- Officers responded to CVS on Washington St for a report of shoplifters. Employees reported to the Officers that a customer had been observed placing several items into a bag and leave without purchasing.  Officers were able to locate and identify the individual who will be summonsed into court for the shoplifting.

06/06/2020- Officers took a report from a resident on Kent St for a report of a stolen Bike. The victim reports that the bike was taken sometime over the past month out of a basement storage area.

06/06/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Webster St

06/07/2020- Officers responded to CVS on Harvard St in Coolidge Corner for a report of a shoplifter.  Employees reported to Officers that a customer had entered the store and took off with multiple items. Still under investigation.

06/07/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Browne St.

06/07/2020- Officers responded for a report of a Motor Vehicle Crash on Beacon St.  The reporting party informed dispatch that the operator was attempting to leave.  During the investigation of the accident, one of the operators was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of liquor.

06/08/2020- Officers took 10 reports of Unemployment Fraud from residents of Pond Ave, Greenhill Rd, Brington Rd, Beacon St, Goodnough Rd, Washburn Ter, Aspinwall Ave, Salisbury Rd, Boylston St, and Kent St. 

06/08/2020- Officers took a report of Breaking and Entering as well as Malicious Damage to a Building on Fisher Ave.

06/09/2020- Officers took three reports of Unemployment Fraud from residents of Hammond Pond Parkway, Carlton St, Buckminster Rd and Glenland Rd.

06/09/2020- Officers responded to the CVS on Commonwealth Ave for a report of a shoplifter.  The employees reported to the Officers that a customer had left the store with multiple items without purchasing. This is still under investigation.

06/09/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Boylston St for a stolen motor vehicle.  The victim reported that she has an agreement for a off-street parking ban.  She parked the car on May 30th and when she went to get her car, it was gone. 

06/09/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike off of Thorndike St. The victim reported to the officers that he had last seen his bike three weeks ago in a storage closet within his building.  When he returned to get it the bike was gone.

06/10/2020- Officers responded to Linden Pl to take a report of a car that was broken into.  The victim reports parking his car in the driveway the night before.  When he returned to the car in the morning items from the vehicle had been thrown around the car.  The victim reported multiple items had been removed.

06/10/2020- Officers responded to Washington St for a report of a car that was broken into.  The victim reported that they parked their car behind their building in their off street parking spot on 06/08/20.  When they returned to the car they found it had been rummaged through and items missing.

06/10/2020- Officers made an arrest at CVS on Commonwealth Ave for outstanding Warrants.

06/10/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen bike and a car that was broken into form a resident on Linden St.  The victim reported to the Officers that her bike was left in the garage the night before and when she went out to retrieve it the bike was gone.  The victim also noticed that her car door and gas tank cover were open.  When she inspected her car she found that it was rummaged through but unsure of items taken.

06/10/2020- Officers responded to CVS for a report of shoplifting.  Employees reported to the Officers that a customer was placing items into a personal bag and left the store without purchasing. Still under investigation.

06/10/2020- Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of a stolen bike.  The victim reports that they parked their bike in the back of the building.  When the returned the bike was gone.

06/10/2020- Officers responded to 5 reports of unemployment fraud from residents on Hallwood Rd, Winchester St, Norfolk Rd, Beacon St, and Claflin Rd.

06/11/2020- Officers took a report for vandalism in the Lawton Street Playground.  Town Parks Department employee reported to officers that sometime overnight someone had knocked over the marble pillar at the entry of the park.

06/11/2020- Officers responded to a business on Beacon St to take a graffiti report. The victim reported that two unknown parties had spray panted the business front.  While taking the report, three other store fronts as well as the median had been covered in spray paint.
 
06/11/2020- Officers responded to 6 reports of unemployment fraud from residents on Marion St, Arlington Rd, Holly Lane, St Mary’s St, Salisbury Rd and Leland Rd

06/12/2020- Officers took a report of an opened package found on a property on Winchester St.  Officers responded to the address on Winchester that the label was for.  The resident informed officers she was indeed waiting for a package that she had yet to receive.  Multiple items were taken from the box before it was discarded.

06/12/2020- Officers responded to Beals St for a report of patio furniture was removed from the porch area.

06/12/2020- Officers took a report from Winthrop Rd regarding a theft of a license plate.  The victim reports to police that plate on their motor cycle had been removed while it was parked in the rear of his building.

06/12/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen back pack from Eliot Park.  The victim reports that they left their bag by they baseball diamond while they used the park.  When they went back to get the bag it was gone.

06/12/2020- Officers 4 reports of unemployment fraud from residents of Cutler Lane, Harvard Ave, Station St and Heath St.

06/13/2020- Offices took a report for graffiti at the Recreation Building on Eliot St.

06/13/2020- Officers responded to Mason Ter for a report of Graffiti on their fence that occurred in February.

06/13/2020- Officers responded to a business on Boylson St for a larceny report.  The employees reported to the Officers that a customer left the store with an item without paying.

06/13/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen bike off of Sewall Ave.  The victim reports to the Officers that the bike was kept in the garage.

06/13/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen bike from Washington St.  The victim reported that his bike was left at Billy Ward Playground.  When he returned, other bikes were still there, but his was missing.

06/13/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen bike out of Lancaster Ter. The victim reported that the bike was locked up to a police, the lock was cut and still on the ground and the bike was gone.

06/04/2020- Officers responded to Russett Rd for a report of a stolen vehicle.   The victim reports that she parked her car in the driveway overnight and when she went out in the morning the vehicle was gone.

06/04/2020- Officers responded to Colbourne Cres. to take a Graffiti report.  The reporting party directed the officers to the street where multiple spray paint marks were made.

06/04/2020-Officers took reports for 14 unemployment fraud.

06/04/2020- Officers responded to CVS on Commonwealth Ave for a report of a shoplifting.  The employees reported to officers that they observed a male in the store place items into a bag and leave the store without purchasing.  The male was identified and placed under arrest for the shoplifting as well as multiple arrest warrants.

06/04/2020- Officers responded to Beacon St. to take a report of a stolen bicycle.  The caller informed officers that his bike was removed from in front of his house.  The cable lock had been cut and left behind.

5/24/2020 Officers responded to an address on Park Vale Apt.  for a report of a past scooter larceny. The scooter in question is a Genuine Scooter Company 50cc "Buddy" model.  It is red in color with a black seating compartment and footrest.  A report has been filed.

05/24/2020 Officer were dispatched to an address on Beacon Street for a past shoplifting.  No suspects were located. A report has been filed.

05/25/2020 Officers responded to an address on Aspinwall  Ave for a Breaking and Entering of a motor vehicle.  The victim reports finding his vehicle had been rummaged through, and noticed that his wife’s vehicle had been so as well. 2 Garmin GPS’s  had been taken, a report was filed.

5/25/20 Officers responded to an address on Fuller St for a report of a past B&E&L of a motor vehicle.  The victim reports his laptop computer had been stolen from his vehicle. A file has been reported.

05/26/ 2020, at approximately 1400 hours, while assigned to the 542 Unit, I, Officer Lalli was directed to contact Parker Hammer out of 15 Francis St. in regards to Identity Fraud. The victim reports they were notified their information was used to file a request for Commonwealth of Massachusetts Unemployment Office COVID-19 unemployment assistance claim.  A report has been filed. 

05/26/2020 Officers took a report over the phone for identity theft.  A report was filed.  

05/26/2020 Officers responded to an address on Regent Circle for a report of theft.  The victim reports having his sons sneakers stolen from the house. A report has been filed and a follow-up investigation will be conducted.

05/26/20, Officers took a report for a past fraud over the phone.

05/26/2020 Officers responded to an address on Beacon Street  for a larceny in progress. The subject was still on scene when Officers arrived. After an investigation the subject was issued a no trespass from the store and was informed he would be summonsed into Brookline Court for shoplifting.

05/18/2020 Officers responded to Kent Street for a Town Property traffic crash.  A fire truck struck a driver side mirror. No injuries reported and a report was filed.

05/18/2020 Officers responded to the Brookline Police Station to take a fraud report. 

05/18/2020 Officers responded to Lawton Street for a traffic crash involving Town property. A town trash truck struck a parked vehicle. The truck and vehicle suffered minor damage, no injuries were reported.

5/18/2020 Officers were  dispatched to a business on  Harvard St.  for a past shoplifting involving 2 females.  The  2 females were described as a black female wearing black pants, dark colored jacket, wearing a mask as well as carrying a purse. The 2nd suspect was described as a female wearing all black with a dark colored bag had fled the store in separate locations after multiple items were stolen by the female subject wearing all black.  Officers searched the area and thru surveillance footage identified a suspect.  After an investigation the subject was informed she would be summonsed into Brookline court for shoplifting.

05/18/2020 Officers were dispatched to an address on Sewall Ave for a larceny report. The victim reports having his Black electric Bridgestone Hydee II bike had been stolen.  A report has been filed.

05/18/2020 Officers took a fraud report from a resident on Fuller Street.  The fraud occurred online while trying to purchase computer software. A report has been filed.

05/18/2020 Officers responded to an address on Summit Avenue for a report of a missing elderly male. Brookline Police units canvassed the area with negative results. Several hours later the subject was located by the State Police and was reunited with his family.

05/18/2020 Officers responded to the intersection of Freeman St and Pleasant St for a traffic crash. Both operators stated that they had the greenlight when proceeding through the intersection.  All parties involved reported no injuries and declined further medical attention.  One vehicle was towed from the scene.

05/19/2020 Officers were  dispatched to  an address on Carlton Street, for a package theft.  The victim reports that he was notified that is package had been delivered however when he went to retrieve it, it was gone. A report has been filed.

05/19/2020 While Officers were conducting routine patrol inside a retail store on Common Wealth Ave,   they were alerted to a shoplifting that had just occurred.  Officers were quickly able to stop a subject. After an investigation the subject was advised he would be summonsed into Brookline Court for MGLc 266 s30A Shoplifting.

 5/19/20 Officers responded to an address on Lawton St for a report of a past stolen bicycle. The victim parked his blue men's Trek 7.2FX bicycle in the garage behind his residence.  The garage was open because it does not have a door and the bicycle was not locked or secured to anything inside the garage.  A report has been filed.

 5/19/20 Officers responded to a business on Commonwealth Ave, for a report of a past shoplifting.  The shoplifting was noticed on the surveillance footage, the suspects has not been identified. A report has been filed and a follow-up by Brookline Police Detectives.

05/19/2020 Officers responded to an address on University Road for a report of a Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle. The victim reports when he returned to his vehicle he noticed that the glove box was open and the contents were on the floor and seat. Upon further inspection, he noticed that the items in the center console were also strewn about.  A report has been filed.

5/19/20 Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Beacon St and Carlton St for a motor vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported and neither vehicles were towed from the scene.

5/19/2020 A resident of Brookline reports having several packages stolen from his buildings foyer. A report has been filed.

5/20/2020 Officers took a report from a resident of Marion St, of a past package theft.  A report has been filed.

5/20/20 Officers assigned to a private road detail at Cypress St. and Tappan St. noticed a subject acting strangely. They observed the subject circulating an Officers personal motor vehicle twice before opening the driver’s door, sitting in the driver’s seat and attempting to put the vehicle in drive.  The Officer approached the subject and the subject then fled the scene.  Officers were able to stop the subject after a short pursuit.  The subject was placed under arrest and charged with 274:6 C Attempted Larceny of a MV - 272:53 B Disorderly Person- 268:32 B Resisting Arrest .

5/20/20 Officers responded to a business on Boylston Street  for a male subject with a metal object who was threatening an employee.  After an investigation, the subject was arrested and charged with:  276:13A Assault and Battery - 265:15B Assault with a Dangerous Weapon - 275:2 Threat to Commit a Crime 266:120 Trespassing -


05/20/2020 Officers took a report for a  past package theft.  The victim reports several packages on their front porch had been opened. And items removed.  A report was filed.

05/11/2020 Officers responded to CVS on Harvard St to take a fraud report.  The reporting party reported to officers that an unknown party had used counterfeit bills to purchase multiple items.  

05/11/2020 Officers responded to Chestnut Place to take a report of malicious damage.  The victim reported that two tires had been cut with a sharp object.   While taking the report officers noticed a second vehicle had also had their tires cut. A report was taken and is still under investigation.

05/12/2020 Officers responded to a residence on Dudley St. The resident informed the officers that their car was parked in their driveway all night and at some point someone had entered their vehicle and multiple items were taken.

05/12/2020 Officer responded to Hammond Pond Parkway to speak to a resident regarding a package that had been removed from the vestibule of the building.  The victim reports getting the delivery notice from Amazon, however when they went to retrieve it the package was not there.

05/13/2020 Officers took a report for a stolen bike. A resident of Fuller St reports to officers that their bike was taken from the front porch of their residence.

05/14/2020 Officers took a report of a car that had been broken into on Dean Rd.  The victim reported to officers that he parked his car in a parking spot over night and when he came back to it the next morning someone had entered and was not sure if any items were taken.

05/14/2020 Officers responded to Beaconsfield Rd to take a report of a car broken into.   The victim reported that she parked her car overnight and came out to find the car rummaged through and multiple items missing.

05/14/2020 Officer responded to Regent Circle to take a report of a car broken into.  The victim reported to the officers that she parked her car overnight and when she went to it in the morning it had been rummaged through and multiple items were taken.

05/15/2020 Officers responded to Babcock St for a report of suspicious activity.  The caller stated that an unknown individual was found on their back porch.  The individual was located and identified.  He was placed under arrest for an unrelated warrant.

05/15/2020 Officers spoke with a resident on Beacon Street to take a report of a stolen bike.   The victim reported to officers that a bike was removed from basement sometime overnight.

05/15/2020 Officers spoke to a resident on Washington St to take a report of a car broken into.  The victim told officers that he parks his car on Parkvale Rd and that it had been rummaged through and change had been taken sometime between the 13th and the 15th.

05/15/2020 Officers responded to Stanton Rd to take a report of a stolen bike.  The victim reported to officers that he put his bike in the garage the day before and when he went back out the next day it was gone.

05/16/2020 Officers responded to Chestnut Place.  Officers took two more reports of cars with their tires cut with sharp objects.

05/17/2020 Officers responded to Eliot St to take a report of a car broken into.  The victim reported that she parked her Car on Eliot St and went to her car in the morning it had been entered and multiple items were taken.

05/17/2020 Officers responded to Strathmore Rd to take a report of malicious damage.  The victim reported parking their car in the spot behind the building and when they returned to the car the morning of the 17th the tire had been cut with a sharp object.

05/17/2020 Officer responded to Kenwood St to take a report of a stolen bike.  The victim reported that the bike was removed from their front porch overnight.

5/5/2020 Officers took a report over the phone for a past B & E & L of a motor vehicle. The victim  noticed the drivers side door to be ajar of his vehicle, and it  had been rummaged through.  A report was filed.

5/06/20 Officers took a report for fraud. The victim was attempting to purchase sneakers on Instagram. A report has been filed.

05/06/2020 Officers were flagged down by a Stop & Shop employee who stated that someone had just taken bags of shrimp from the store without paying. Officers stopped a subject who fit the description.  The subject  was advised that he would be summonsed into Brookline District Court for Shoplifting (Chapter 266 Sec 30A)

5/6/2020 Officers were dispatched  to the area of Salisbury Rd. and Corey Rd. for a report of a bike theft that just occurred.  A description was provided by the caller, and Officers were able to locate the subject. After an investigation the subject was advised that he would be summoned in for M.G.L. Ch. 266 s.16A  Breaking and Entering with in Intent to Commit a Misdemeanor. A criminal complaint has been filed.

05/06/2020, Officers were dispatched to 111 Carlton St a public road in the town of Brookline for a motor vehicle accident involving 2 vehicles at approximately 1715 hours. No injuries reported, no vehicles were towed.

05/06/20 Officers took a report by telephone with a resident of Winthrop Rd,  who reported her bicycle had been stolen from her building. The bicycle is described as a Fuji Finest brand, blue and white in color, black and blue seat, black handle bars, rear and front lights, approximate value of $300.00. A report has been filed.

05/07/20 Officers took report over the phone from a resident of Davis Court. The victim reports being notified by Amazon that a package of paper towels had been delivered to his home. When the victim went out to retrieve the package, the package was gone. A report has been filed.

05/08/20, Officers responded to an address on Beacon St. for a possible Larceny of a Package. The caller reports that this morning he found a package torn open in front of his residency on Beacon St. There were multiple undisturbed packages as well as mail piling up at the residence. The torn open package was secured into evidence until the owner can be notified.

05/08/20, Officers responded to an address on Hyslop Road for a report of found property. The reporting party had located a piece of jewelry on Dudley Road. A report has been filed and the item has been placed into evidence for safe keeping.  placed it into evidence locker #13 for safe keeping.

05/08/20, A resident of Aspinwall Ave contacted the Brookline Police to report a package theft.  Video surveillance has been requested from the building management. A report has been filed.

05/09/20, Residents of Winthrop Rd contacted the Brookline Police to report 2 stolen bicycles. The victim reports his brown Cannondale bicycle and black Fuji bicycle were taken from behind his house. A report has been filed.

05/10/2020 Officers responded to an address on Fisher Ave. for a report of a loose dog.  Officers arrived and encountered an Australian Husky.  The dog followed basic commands and was friendly, however she wasn't wearing a collar and the owners could not be identified.  After remaining in the area for several minutes it was decided the dog would be brought to Angel Memorial on South Huntington Ave. in Boston.  Eventually the owner of the dog located and reunited with their dog.
   
05/10/20 A resident who lives on Harvard St. contacted Brookline Police to report  a package theft. A report has been filed.

05/11/2020 Officers responded to an address on Mason Terrace for a suspicious white male in a black hoodie entering people’s yards. The reporting resident witnessed a white male in a black hoodie going into her yard as well as other neighbor’s yards crouching down, then running out of their yards back onto the street. Officers were able to locate the subject in question.  After an investigation the subject will be summonsed to Brookline District Court, and a criminal complaint will be filed for the following charges:   M.G.L. 94C § 31  - Possession of Class A  -  For possessing a syringe filled with Herion, and M.G.L. 266 § 120 -  Trespassing  -  For entering the fenced in back yard of  an address on Summit Ave.

05/11/20 Officers responded to  Chestnut Pl for a report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle. The victim reports 2 of his vehicles tires had been damaged. The damage appeared to be slash marks.  There was also another vehicle in the lot with similar damage to its tires. A report was filed and a request has been made for a follow-up by Brookline Detectives.



05/11/20 Officers responded to CVS Pharmacy on Harvard Street on reports of a shoplifting. Staff reported that  this afternoon a white male wearing a gray Addis brand T-shirt, gray sweatpants and black baseball cap entered the store to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy counter. While in the store this suspect picked up a pair of Foster Grant brand sunglasses and walked to the rear pharmacy counter. This suspect then paid for his prescription medication and was asked if he was going to pay for the sunglasses. The suspect then walked toward the front entrance while placing the sunglasses in his pants pocket without paying for them, bypassing the cashiers. The subject was identified thru pharmacy records, and surveillance footage. A criminal complaint has been filed with the Brookline District Court.

05/11/20 Officers were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy on  Harvard Street for a Fraud report,  The Manager reported a customer had passed five $100.00 dollar counterfeit bills to one of his cashiers. A report has been filed and a follow-up with Brookline Detectives will be conducted.

4/30 -- 5/4/20


 04/30/20, Officers responded to  Brookline Police Headquarters, to take a report by telephone of a stolen laptop computer, from an address on Kent St. The reporting party is unsure how the laptop went missing and will be changing her locks.

04/30/2020, Officers responded to a CVS on Beacon St for a shoplifting.  Store security observed a male subject enter the store and he went straight to one aisle, then turned back around. The subject then wandered about the aisles.  After a brief interaction, the subject left the store. Upon reviewing the security surveillance footage, security observed the subject select an item and conceal it under his shirt prior to interacting with him. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with facial hair, wearing a white shirt, black zip-up sweatshirt, grey pants, grey baseball cap with a 'B' written on it, and carrying a black backpack.  Units searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

04/30/20 Officers took a report for a past larceny at the Brookline Health Department.  On April 22, 2020, approximately 15 red tote bags were placed in the unlocked glass vestibule of the Health Department. These bags were filled with office supplies, gloves, hand sanitizer and paperwork. On April 23, the tote bags were no longer in the vestibule.  A request for video footage has been made.

 04/30/20 Officers took a fraud report over the phone. The victim was selling furniture online, and ended up being scammed out of $2000.

05/01/20 Officers were dispatched to an address on Dwight Street for a report of a B&E&L of a motor vehicle. The victim reports parking her vehicle on the street and the next morning she noticed her passenger side door had been "smashed open" and her car rummaged through.  She believes $100.00 in cash was stolen from the glove compartment.  A report has been filed.

5/1/2020 A citizen reported to the Brookline Police that a couple weeks ago her vehicle, while parked on  Harvard Ave. in Brookline had been broken into. At the time she didn't report it because mail and an umbrella were the only things she noticed were missing.  The victim now believes fraudulent checks have been written from information, she believes that was in her mail. Several homes in the area have exterior security cameras, and a follow-up will be conducted.

5/1/20, Officers were dispatched to the area of Amory Park for a report of found property.  A citizen had found a set of keys on the ground near the entrance of the parking lot.  A Toyota brand automotive key was among those in the set, however the FOB unlock button did not work on any of the Toyotas in the lot at that time. The keys will be placed in evidence for safe keeping until the owner can be identified.


05/02/20, Officers, along with the Brookline Fire Department and Fallon Ambulance responded to the intersection of Dummer St. and Amory St. for a motor vehicle crash. There were no reported injuries, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

05/02/20 Officers took a report, over the phone  from a resident on Sears St. The report was a larceny by credit card. The victim reports items were purchased from an online retailer without his permission/knowledge.

05/02/20 Officers took a report for unauthorized use  of his Visa credit card. The victim was notified by Dell Computers regrading a purchase of three (3) computers.  The cards were immediately cancelled and a report was filed.

05/01/20 Officers responded to an address on Beacon Street for a past package theft report. The victim received confirmation from Amazon that her package was delivered at 2:26 pm on 04-29-20. When she went to pick up the package at the front door,  it was missing.  A report has been filed.

05/03/20 Officers responded to a business on Harvard Street on reports of a shoplifting.  Dispatched informed responding Officers that a store manager was following the subjects.  The subjects were located and stopped.  After an investigation it was decided that they would be summonsed into Brookline Court for Shoplifting.

5/3/20 Officers responded to an address on Foster Street Extension for a larceny report.  The victim reports  that sometime between 2:00pm and 6:00pm today various perennial type flowers and plants were taken from the area in front and along the side of her address.  Some of these flowers were planted and others were still in their plastic planters waiting to be planted.  Security footage has been requested and a report was filed.
05/04/20 Officers responded to an address on Beacon St for suspicious activity. Officers located several people, and after a brief investigation it was determined that one of the subjects had several warrants.  One subject was arrested.

4/30 Officers responded to a business on Beacon St in Coolidge Corner. Employees reported to the officers that an unknown subject was seen concealing items under their shirt and then left the store without purchasing.  Investigation is still ongoing.

4/25-4/30


4/25   Officers responded to a business on Commonwealth Ave for a report of a shoplifter.  Officers identified the subject who will be summonsed into court for shoplifting.

4/27 Officers responded to a business on Beacon St in Coolidge Corner for a report of a shoplifter.  The officers took a report from the store regarding a subject who left without purchasing multiple items.  The investigation is still ongoing.

4/28 Officers were sent to the area of Washington Square on Beacon St for report of suspicious activity.  An individual with multiple warrants was placed under arrest as a result of the investigation.

4/29 Officers responded to a business on Beacon St in Coolidge Corner.  Employees informed officers of a shoplifting that had just occurred and provided a description of the subject.  Officers were able to locate the subject and found that they also had multiple warrants for their arrest.  The subject was placed under arrest for the shoplifting and warrants.

4/29 Officers were called to the area of Thorndike St for report of suspicious activity.   During the investigation a subject with multiple warrants was identified and placed under arrest.

04/24- Officers took a report from a resident on Harvard Street who reported that packages that they ordered were stolen from their front steps.

4/25  Officers took a report for two bicycles that were stolen out of a garage on Pleasant St.
