IDENTITY FRAUD

Officers responded to the front desk of the Brookline Police Department for a report of identity fraud. The reporting party stated their identity had been stolen and been used to add onto their bills. 

CAR BREAK 

Officers received a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle at the front desk of the Brookline Police Department. The reporting party stated that their phone was missing from their unlocked car.

Tuesday, March 17

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a shoplifting report from a store on Commonwealth Avenue. The suspect was arrested.

Officers received a report of shoplifting at a CVS on Commonwealth Avenue. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting in progress at a CVS on Boylston Street. The suspect was arrested. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a shoplifting report from a Target on Commonwealth Avenue. 

ANIMAL DISTURBANCE

Officers received a report of a coyotes attack, where three coyotes took the reporting parties' dog. The dog was able to be rescued. 

Wednesday, March 18

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Harvard Street. The suspect was arrested.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of package theft on Cypress Street. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Harvard Street.

FRAUD BY CHECK

Officers responded to a report of fraud by check where multiple fraudulent checks had been made. 

Thursday, March 19

LOST PROPERTY

Officers received a report of lost property at the front desk of the Brookline Police Department regarding a lost wallet.

Friday, March 20

FOUND PROPERTY

Officers receive a report of found property that was turned into the front desk of the Brookline Police Department. An Apple watch was found near 48-50 Harvard Street early that morning. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Commonwealth Avenue.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of package theft from a residence on Freeman Street. 

Saturday, March 21

LARCENY OF BIKE

Officers responded to a report of a bike theft, where the bike was left outside and last seen on March 18th. 

Sunday, March 22

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Laurel Road.
