10/12/2020

 10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Fuller St. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report for a break and enter of a motor vehicle from Naples Rd.   The resident reported to the officers that they had two vehicles parked in their garage.  When they went to their vehicles in the morning they observed that both cars had been rummaged through and multiple items taken.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Auburn Ct. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Claflin Rd. The resident reported that their information had been used multiple times to file for unemployment assistance as well as a small business loan. 

10/09/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Claflin Rd. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a report for a package theft from a resident of Englwood Ave.  The resident reported to officers that they were awaiting a package that the USPS stated was delivered, however the resident never received the package.

10/09/20-Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Longwood Ave. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/09/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Dummer St.  The resident reported to offices that FedEx had notified them of a delivery, when they when to retrieve the package they found it had been stolen.

10/10/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Clinton Rd.  The resident reported to the officers that they had received a call from a party claiming to be from Apple Security regarding a breach.  The resident stated the caller wanted bank account information to confirm that their bank accounts were also not compromised. 

10/10/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Summit Ave. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/10/2020- Officers took a larceny report from a resident of Boylston St. The resident reported that they had been away from their house during the COVID lock down since March 8. When they returned in September, they noticed some items missing from their house.

10/10/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Beals St.  The resident reported that they had their bike parked in their garage, when they went out in the morning the bike was gone.

10/10/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Browne St.  The resident reported to officers that they kept their bike locked in the basement of their building. When they went down to retrieve their bike they observed the lock had been cut and the bike was gone.

10/10/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Marshal St.  The resident reported to officers that they kept their bike in the hallway of their building.  When they went to retrieve the bike they found it was gone.

10/10/2020- Officers responded to the Brookline Booksmith on Harvard St. for a reported shoplifting.  Employees informed officers that they observed a party who was not adhering to the store’s policy regarding facemasks.  An employee reported to observing the subject placing items into a back pack, and attempting to leave the store.  When the employees confronted the subject refused to stop and left the store.

10/11/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of Osborne Rd.  The resident reported to officers that their child’s bike had been taken from their front porch some times since October 9th.

10/11/2020- Offices took a stolen bike report from a resident of Beacon St.  The resident reported to the officers that they had their bike locked to the bike rack along the side of their building. When they went to retrieve it, they found that the bike was gone.

10/ 11/2020- Officer took a license plate theft from a resident of Egmont St.  The resident reported to officers that they noticed their front plate was missing from the front of their vehicle.

10/11/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of University Rd. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/12/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report out of Browne St.  The resident reported that they kept their bike behind their building and when they went to retrieve it, the bike was gone.

10/09/2020

10/08/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Clinton Rd. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/08/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of St Paul St. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/08/2020-Officers responded to Trader Joes on Beacon St for a reported larceny.  The victim reported that they had been shopping with their bag in the shopping cart. They turned to get an item and their purse was stolen from the card.

10/08/2020- Officers observed a subject approaching multiple locked bicycle’s that were locked up along Beacon St. Due to the increase of bicycle thefts in town as of date, the officers observed and identified the subject.  The subject was placed under arrest for possession of Class A drug.

10/08/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Beacon St. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/08/2020- Officers responded to Mall Liquors on Harvard St. for a reported shoplifter.  The employees reported to officers that a customer had been in the store trying to take merchandise without purchasing.  The customer was identified and will be summonsed into court.

10/09/2020- Officers responded to a break and enter of a motor vehicle on Beacon St.  The resident reported to officers that they had their car parked along Beacon St.  When they came out to their vehicle in the morning they noticed a window had been smashed.  As they got closer to the vehicle they found it was propped up on rocks and all four tires were gone.

 10/07/2020- Officers responded to Harvard St for report of threats being made.  After an investigation of the situation one subject was placed under arrest.

10/07/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Wallis Rd. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/07/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Washington St. The resident reported to officers that they had received a credit card in the mail that they had not applied for.  After speaking to the company it was discovered that an unknown party had used their information to set up accounts without their knowledge.

10/07/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Willow Cres. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/07/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from Pond Ave. The resident reported to officers that the found their child’s bike had been stolen overnight.

10/06/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Baker Cir. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/06/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Worthington Rd. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/06/2020-Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Evans Rd.  The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/06/2020- Officers served an arrest warrant on Commonwealth Ave.

10/06/2020- Officers took a package theft report form a resident of Washington St.  The resident reported they had a confirmation of a package being delivered.  When the resident went to retrieve the package, they found the packaged to be opened and the contents were gone.

10/06/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Washington St. The resident received notice that the package was delivered. When they returned home the package was missing.

10/01/2020- Officer took a report of Fraud from a resident of Stearns Rd.  The resident reported to the officers that they received a bill in the mail for a credit card that they had not opened.

10/02/2020- Officers served an arrest warrant on South St.

10/03/2020- Officers responded to Trader Joes on Beacon St to take a larceny report. The officers spoke to the victim who reported having their bag inside the shopping cart. When they turned to get an item the bag was gone.

10/04/2020- Officers took a report regarding a stolen bike from a resident of St Paul St.  The resident reported to officers that they had left their bike locked up with another resident’s bike in the basement of their building.  When the resident went to get their bike, both bikes were gone and the broken lock was left behind.  

10/04/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Beacon St. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/04/2020- Officers took a malicious damage report from a resident of Parkman St.  The resident informed officers that their car was parked on the street and when they returned there was damage done to the windshield.

10/04/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of Beacon St.  The resident reported to officers that they had received a letter from the US Small Business Administration regarding a disaster relief loan that was applied for using their information.

10/05/2020- Officers took a stolen bike report from a resident of High St.  The resident reported to officers that their bike was left in their garage, when they returned to the garage the bike was gone.

10/05/5050- Officers took a report for a stolen electric scooter from the rear of Trader Joes.  The victim reported they parked their electric scooter in rear of the store, when they came out the scooter was gone.

10/05/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Tabor Pl.  The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/05/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of James St. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/05/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Pleasant St. The resident reported to the officers that they had a package delivered to their residence, when they went to retrieve the package, the box had been opened and the contents removed.

10/05/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Linden St. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

10/05/2020- Officers took a report form a resident of Pearl St. They informed officers that they had received a call from an unknown number.  The person on the other end told them they were calling from an unknown police department and was inquiring about their personal information.

09/30/2020- - Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Thayer St. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/30/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen vehicle from St Paul St.  The resident reported to officers that their vehicle was parked in their assigned spot behind their building. When they went out in the morning the car was gone.

09/30/2020- Officers took a report for a break and enter to a motor vehicle on Egmont St.  The resident reported that they observed a subject attempt to break a window of a vehicle in the back lot of the building.

09/30/2020- Officers responded to Trader Joes on Beacon St for a stolen wallet.  The victim reported that while shopping in the store her wallet was in the cart.  At some point during the shopping trip the wallet was removed from her cart.

09/30/2020-Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Aspinwall Ave. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/30/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Welland Rd. The resident reported that received information from their employers Human Resource division alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/30/2020- Officers responded to Freeman St. to take a larceny report. The victim reported to officers that they were moving into the building, and during the move someone came and took items from the loading dock of the building.

09/30/2020- Officers responded to Browne St for a report of a stolen bike.  The resident reported that their family had four bikes that were stored in the basement of the building.  They were alerted by another resident of the building that their bikes were missing was missing.

 09/29/2020- Officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Newton St and Grove St. when they observed a vehicle take a turn where signs prohibit.  The operator was placed under arrest for operation under suspension and a warrant. 

09/29/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Heath St.  The resident reported to officers that they had noticed unknown charges on their credit card.

 09/28/2020- Officers took a report for a break and enter to a motor vehicle on Forest St.  The resident reported to officers that their vehicle was broken into some time over night and multiple items were stolen.

09/28/2020- Officers took graffiti report from a resident regarding Gardner Path. 

09/28/2020- Officers took a report for malicious damage from a resident of Tappan St.  The resident reported that they discovered egg yolk all over the outside of their building.

09/28/2020- Officers responded to CVS on Beacon St regarding a shoplifting.  The employee reported to the officers that they noticed inventory significantly depleted. Upon checking surveillance they observed two customers inside that had been in the store place the items in bags and exit the store without purchasing.

09/28/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Kent St. The resident reported that received a letter from the Department of Unemployment alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/28/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from a resident of Rice St.  The resident reported their bike had been in the rear of their residence. When they went to retrieve it the bike was gone.

09/24/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Chestnut St. The resident reported that the Human Resource department of their employers alerted them to the fraudulent unemployment claim using their information.

09/24/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Willow Cres.  The resident reported that the Human Resource department of their employers alerted them to the fraudulent unemployment claim using their information.

09/24/2020- Officers took a report of bicycle theft from a resident of Harrison St.  The resident reported to officers that two bikes were taken from their garage sometime in the past week.

09/24/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Griggs Rd.  The resident reported that the Human Resource department of their employers alerted them to the fraudulent unemployment claim using their information.

09/24/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of  University Rd.  The resident reported that they had received messages form someone posing as their employer requesting that they purchase gift cards for them.   

09/24/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Georges Lane. The resident reported that received a letter from the commonwealth alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/24/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Westbourne Terr. The resident reported that received a letter from the commonwealth alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/24/2020- Officer took a report of package theft from a resident of Davis Ave.  The resident reported getting an alert that the package had been delivered and went hey went to retrieve it the package was gone.

09/25/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Channing Rd . The resident reported that the Human Resource department of their employers alerted them to the fraudulent unemployment claim using their information.

09/25/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Longwood Ave. The resident reported that received a letter from the commonwealth alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/25/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Brown St for a package theft.  The resident reported to the offices that they witnessed their packages in the vestibule of their building prior to a walk.  When the resident returned the packages were missing.

09/25/2020- Officers took a report for malicious damage done to a residence on South St.

09/25/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen wallet from Trader Joes on Beacon St.  The victim reported to officers that while shopping within the store they left their wallet in the shopping cart, some point while shopping the wallet was taken.

09/25/2020- Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Westbourne Terr. The resident reported that received a letter from the commonwealth alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/25/2020- Officers took a bike theft report from a resident of Beals St.  The resident reported that their bike was parked inside their garage and when they went to retrieve it they noticed the bike was gone.

09/26/2020-Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Rawson Rd. The resident reported that received a letter from the commonwealth alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/26/20-Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of City View Rd . The resident reported that the Human Resource department of their employers alerted them to the fraudulent unemployment claim using their information.

09/26/2020- Officers responded to the CVS on Boylston St for a reported shoplifter.  Employees reported to police that a customer had been in the store and was observed placing several items into a bag and leaving the store without purchasing.

09/26/2020 Officers took a report of Unemployment Fraud from a resident of Rawson Rd. The resident reported that received a letter from the commonwealth alerting them that a fraudulent unemployment claim had been placed using their information.

09/27/2020- During an investigation Officers made an arrest for receiving a stolen motor vehicle as well as a warrant on Beech Rd.

09/27/2020- Officers took a break and enter of a motor vehicle on New Terrace Rd.  The resident reported to officers that they parked their vehicle in their assigned spot overnight.  In the morning they were alerted by a neighbor that their trunk was left open.  When the resident went to check on the vehicle, they found that the car had been rummaged through.

09/27/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen Bike from a resident of Vernon St.  The resident reported that their bike was taken some time since the 20th of September.  The bike was located in their garage and when they went to retrieve the bike they found it was gone.

09/27/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Larkin Rd.  The resident reported that their vehicle was stolen from their driveway sometime overnight.

09/23/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Chestnut St. regarding fraudulent activity on a credit card.

09/23/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Welland Rd.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/23/2020- Officers made an arrest on Aspinwall Ave for multiple warrants.

09/20/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from a resident of Longwood Ave.  The resident reported that they had left their bike in the basement of their building. When they went to retrieve the bike they found the bike lock had been cut and the bike was stolen.

09/20/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike and a break and enter to a vehicle from a resident of Crowninshield Rd.  The resident reported that they notice that their bike had been stolen from the back yard on 09/17.  While speaking to the resident, they also reported that on 09/17 they found that someone had rummaged through their vehicle that had been parked in their driveway.  They reported multiple items are missing from their vehicle.

09/20/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Mason Terr.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/20/2020- Officers responded to Pearl St for a report of malicious damage to the building.  One person was placed under arrest for the damage.  

09/21/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Glen Rd.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/21/2020- Officers took a bike theft report from a resident of Beacon St.  The resident reported they had left their bike locked along Beacon St.  When they went to retrieve it the bike and lock were gone.

09/21/2020- Officers took a bike theft report from a resident of Lawton St.  The resident reported they had left their bike within their driveway.  When they went to retrieve it the bike was gone.

09/21/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Abbotsford Rd regarding a stolen sign.  The resident reported they had a sign hanging from their front porch.  The resident noticed that the sign was missing as 09/19.

09/21/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Beverly Rd.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/21/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Aspinwall Ave.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/21/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Kent St.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/22/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Leland Rd.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/22/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Laurel Rd.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/22/2020- Officers spoke took an unemployment fraud report from a resident of Clinton Rd.  The resident reported that they received notification from their employer regarding an unemployment claim that had been filed under their name.

09/22/2020- Officers responded to CVS on Washington St for a reported shoplifting.  Employees reported that they had a customer that was in the store and had left without purchasing items. Officers were able to locate and identify the subject who was placed under arrest for the shoplifting. The second suspect will be summonsed into court.

 09/13/2020- Officers took a report for graffiti on a Town of Brookline utility box. 

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Bowker St for a stolen Bike.  The resident reported to Officers that the bike was left in their back yard, and when they went to retrieve it in the morning the bike was gone.

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of University Ave. for Identity Theft.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a report from a credit agency that someone had used their information to apply for a disaster relief loan.

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from Crowninshield Rd.  The resident reported to the Officers that they had two cars parked in the drive way and at some point they were both rummaged through. 

09/14/2020- Officers responded to Welland Rd to take a report of a bike theft.  The resident reported to Officers that some point overnight a bike was removed from underneath their porch.

09/14/2020-  Officers took a report for a stolen purse from TJ Maxx on Harvard St.  The victim reported that they had their purse stolen from the checkout area of TJ Maxx.

09/14/2020- Officers took an identity theft report from a resident of Clark Rd.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received mail from the Unemployment Office that they did not file for. 

 09/14/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from Crowninshield Rd.  The resident reported to the Officers that they had two cars parked in the drive way and at some point they were both rummaged through. 

09/14/2020- Officers took a report for a resident of Freeman St.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received an email from their employers Human Resource Office regarding an unemployment claim they had not filed.

09/14/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from a resident of Elba St.  The resident reported that two of their cars had been rummaged through and items taken during the night.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report for breaking and entering to a motor vehicle from Park Vale.  The resident reported that they had parked their car in the lot of their building.  When they went to the car in the morning they noticed that the car was open and the inside had been rummaged through and items missing.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report form a resident of Hurd Rd.  The resident reported to officers that they parked their bike behind their building on 9/1 and when they went to retrieve it on 9/14 the bike was gone.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from a resident of Pearl St.  The resident reported that their bike was stolen from outside of the building sometime between 09/10 and 09/12.

 09/15/2020- Officers responded to Walgreens on Harvard St for a report of a shoplifting.  The Officers spoke to employees who reported that two customers had been seen attempting to conceal items without purchasing.   Both parties were identified and summonsed into court.

09/15/2020- Officers took a report for identity theft from a resident of Boylston St.  The resident reported to Officers that they received a letter from the Commonwealth regarding Unemployment assistance that they did not apply for.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from Auburn Pl.  The resident reported to Officers that their bike was on the side of their house, and when they went to retrieve it the bike was gone.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report of identity theft from a resident of Rawson Rd.   The resident reported that their employer made them aware that there had been an unemployment claim using their information.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report of identity theft from a resident of Thorndike St.  The resident reported to Officers that they received letters from the Commonwealth regarding Unemployment assistance that they did not apply for.

09/16/2020- Officers responded to Cypress St to take a report of malicious damage.  The victim reported to Officers that their car was parked on Cypress St. When they returned to their vehicle someone had vandalized the car windows.

09/16/2020- Officer took a report for package theft from a resident of Thatcher St.  The resident reported to Officers that they had a package in the vestibule of their building. The package was found to be opened and the contents inside had been taken.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen bike from Harvard St.  The victim reported to Officers that while at the playground at the Coolidge Corner School they left their bike leaning against a picnic table while utilizing the park.  When they returned the bike was gone.

09/16/2020- Officers responded for an unwanted person at the Holiday Inn on Beacon St.  The building is currently under construction and there should be no one besides employees/construction crew within the building.  The employees reported to Officers that the unwanted person is known to them had been informed in the past that they are not to be in the building. The officers located the unwanted person, who was found to also have a “No Trespass” order on them.  The male was placed under arrest for multiple charges.

09/16/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen wallet out of Beacon St.  The victim reported to Officers that while at Trader Joes her wallet had been taken from their shopping cart.

09/17/2020- Officers took a report for malicious damage to a vehicle on High St.  The victim reported that they had their car parked on High St.  When they returned to the vehicle their windshield wipers had been ripped off the car.

09/17/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Naples Rd.  The resident reported to officers that they had received a suspicious call from an unknown number who told them they were from the Mass State Police.  The resident was told that their identity had been stolen and the only way to clear it up was to transfer money.

09/18/2020- Officers responded to Salisbury Rd to take a report for Graffiti.  The resident reported spray paint along their fence.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Clark Rd.  The resident reported they were made aware of a fraudulent unemployment claim form their employers Human Resource Department.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Carlton St. The resident reported that they noticed some fraudulent activity on their credit report.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report form a resident of Leland Rd.  The resident reported that someone had been making unauthorized credit card and banking transactions under their name.   

09/18/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Sewall Ave.  The resident reported that they received an alert that a package had arrived for them. When they went to retrieve it the package had been opened and the contents were stolen.

09/18/2020- Officers took a report from Trader Joes on Beacon St regarding a theft of a purse.  The victim reported to officers that they had their purse in the shopping cart, they turned around to look for a product and their purse was taken.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of Baker Circle.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a letter from the Commonwealth regarding an unemployment claim that they did not file.

09/18/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Corey Rd.  The resident reported that they were made aware of fraudulent charges to their credit card. 

09/18/2020- Officers took a report for a break and enter to a motor vehicle on Russell St.  The resident reported that their car was parked in the driveway and the car had been rummaged through.

09/19/2020- Officers took a report of graffiti from the Brookline High School on Greenough St.  The employee of the school reported to officers that sometime overnight someone had spray painted the side of the building.

09/19/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident out of Shaw Rd.  The resident reported to Officers that they had received a notification from their employers Human Resource Department of a claim filed for unemployment in their name.

09/10/2020- Officers took a fraud report form a resident of Freeman St.  The victim reported to Officers that they received a call from an unknown party claiming to be with a government agency.  The victim also reported that he unknown caller threated the caller if they did not send money to them.

 

09/10/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident of Crowninshield Rd.   The resident informed Officers that they received a letter in the mail stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information.

 

09/11/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident on Beacon St.  The resident reported to the Officers that they got a delivery confirmation from FedEx. When they went to retrieve the package, it had be stolen.

 

09/11/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident of Beacon St.   The resident informed Officers that they received an email from their employer stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information without their knowledge.

09/11/2020- Officers took a report from a resident of Francis St for a larceny report.  The resident reported to Officers that sometime overnight someone had entered their garage and stole items.

09/11/2020- Officers took a package theft report from a resident of Euston St.  The resident reported to Officers that they had multiple packages that were stolen out of the foyer of the building.

09/11/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident of Beacon St.   The resident informed Officers that they received a suspicious letter in the mail regarding unemployment assistance however had not applied for any assistance. 

 

09/11/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from Webster St.   The resident informed Officers that they received a letter in the mail stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information.

09/11/2020- Officers took a larceny report from a resident of Washington St.  The resident reported to Officers that someone had stolen their grill from their property. 

 

09/12/2020- Officers responded to a residence on Aspinwall Ave for a report of a Break and Entry.   Upon arrival the Officers spoke to the resident who reported hearing someone attempting to gain entry into their residence. This is still under investigation.

 

09/12/2020- Officers took a fraud report from a resident of Little Rd.  The resident reported to Officers that they were attempting to sell an item online.  An unknown party to them sent a check to purchase the item, however they sent the check for more money than the asking price.  The unknown party then asked the victim to forward money to another account from the check.

09/12/2020- Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle form Thorndike St.   The resident reported to the Officers that their bicycle was taken from their shed sometime overnight.

09/08/2020- Officers took a report form a resident of Naples Road for stolen bicycle parts.  The resident stated that the bike was locked to the front porch rail and when they went to retrieve the bicycle the rims and tires were missing.

09/08/2020- Officers took fraud report from a resident of Longwood Ave.  The resident reported to the Officers that someone used their information an opened a T-Mobil account without their knowledge.

09/08/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud.   The resident informed Officers that they received a letter in the mail stating that a claim for unemployment assistance was filed using their information.

09/08/2020- Officers responded to Worthington Rd to take a report for a past larceny.  The resident informed Officers that they found multiple items, including bicycles, had been stolen out of their locked garage.

09/08/2020- Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident on Ivy St.  The resident informed Officers that they received a letter regarding an unemployment claim that was filed using their information.

09/08/2020- Officers took a report for a stolen vehicle from a resident of Ivy St.  The resident stated they came home from being away to find their car was stolen from their driveway.

09/02/2020- Officers responded to Fisher Ave for a report of an assault on an Uber driver.  The diver reported to Officers that their fare had become aggressive towards them during the transport.  The Uber driver pulled over on Fisher Ave to call for help.  The male passenger will be summonsed into court for the Assault charges.

09/09/2020- Officers responded to Beacon St to take a report for a past larceny.  The reporting party informed Officers that they parked their bicycle in the rear of the building on Beacon St.  Attached to the bike was a bag containing multiple personal items.  When the reporting person returned to the bike, the bag that was attached to the bike was missing.

09/09/2020- Officers responded to Beacon St to take a report for a stolen moped.  The reporting party informed the Officers that their moped was parked in front of their building with a chain lock preventing it from being driven, when they looked out their window this morning the moped was gone.

09/09/2020- - Officers took a report for unemployment fraud from a resident on Beacon St.  The resident informed Officers that they received a letter regarding an unemployment claim that was filed using their information.

 

09/09/2020- Officers took a report from a business on Station St.  The owner of the business reported someone entered and stole items from the store overnight. The case is still under investigation.

9-5- thru 9-7-2020

 

On 09/07/2020, Officers responded to the Brookline Police Station to take a stolen license plate report. The victim reports  she left her apartment and went to Star Market in Boston. When she arrived to the store she noticed that he license plate was missing.  A report was filed.

 On 09-07-2020 a resident of  Lyon Road for contacted the Brookline Police to report a B&E of a motor vehicle. The victim reports his vehicles were parked in his driveway and someone had rummaged thru the center console. A report has been filed.

On 09-7-2020, Officers responded to the police station to take a report of identity theft. The victim   received a letter in the mail from the Department of Unemployment Assistance stating he recently filed a claim for unemployment, yet he did not file this claim as he is still employed.  A report was filed.

On 09-07-2020 a resident of Heath St. called the Brookline Police to report that someone entered his vehicle over night, but that he doesn't believe anything was taken. The contents of his center console and glove box had been emptied onto the front seat. A report was filed and Detectives notified.

On 09-07-2020 a resident of Heath St contacted the Brookline Police to report a B&E of a motor  vehicle.  The victim reports he parked his car in his driveway and when he went to go out in his car this morning he noticed that his vehicle had been entered and the contents of the center console and glove box had been emptied out on to the front seat. He immediately called the police and did not touch the contents of the vehicle.  He said by looking at the items he noticed that a few things were missing. A report was filed and the Detectives were notified.

On 9/4/2020 While working a private detail on Beacon Street a Brookline Officer was approached by anonymous resident of  Webster Street who wished to report possible public consumption of marijuana. The Officer located the subject in question and advised the person about local laws concerning marijuana consumption.

On 09/06/2020,Officers responded to an address on  Brook Street for a report of a suspicious male going through private backyards. Brookline Control gave out a description of the suspect as a white male, lean build, bushy beard wearing a red t-shirt, dark colored shorts and a backpack. The Officers canvassed the area and located the subject in question. During the investigation it was discovered the subject had 4 outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was additionally charged with M.G.L. 266 § 120 - Trespassing on Private Property.  He was placed into custody and transported to the Brookline Police Station.

On 09-6-2020 Officers responded to an address on St. Paul Street for a report of bicycle tire theft. The victim reports he saw his bicycle locked to the pole just outside his building and it was intact.  This afternoon at approximately 1500 hours he exited his building and found that his bicycle was missing both tires and the seat.  He located the seat in the park next to his building, close to Amory Street, but was unable to locate the tires.  The tires were from a Specialized brand bike and had an approximate value of $100. A report was filed and the detectives were notified.

On 09/06/2020 Officers took a report for lost or stolen property. The reporting party last saw her beige bag when she was at a location on Harvard St. A report has been filed.

On 09/5/2020 Officers took a report for a B &E&L of a motor vehicle which occurred in the rear of a residence on  Naples Rd. The victim stated that she parked her vehicle, in the rear at approximately 1800hrs on 9/4/20.  On 9/5/20 around 1600hrs she noticed several items missing from the rear of the vehicle including a Coach bag , Coach shoes and various items of clothing. Additionally a Louis Vuitton Wallet was taken.  A report was filed and Detectives were notified.
