GRAFFITI

Officers took a report of graffiti on High St.

Tuesday, July 4

SCAM

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they were contacted by a scammer claiming to be a government employee. The reporting party was instructed to purchase gift cards and send the card information via text. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to Beacon St. for a shoplifting report. The suspect was identified.

AUTO LARCENY

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that their vehicle had been broken into on Winchester St. They recall the vehicle being left unlocked. Several contents within the car were reported missing.

AUTO BREAK AND ENTER

Officers responded to Coolidge St. to take a report, where the reporting party shared that two of their cars had been broken into. Contents of each car were scattered, though none were found to be missing.

Wednesday, July 5

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Officers responded to Kennard Rd. to take a report of malicious damage to town property. Three chairs that had been painted for pride month were disassembled and knocked over. 

ASSAULT

Officers responded to Bournewood Hospital for a report of two individuals in an altercation. One of the two has been charged.

ANIMAL BITE

Officers took a report of a dog bite that took place in a residence on Longwood Ave.

Officers took a report of a past shoplifting on Commonwealth Ave.

SHOPLIFTING

Officers took a report of a shoplifting on Harvard St.

Friday, July 7

FRAUD

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they found fraudulent activity on their bank account.

SCAM

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they are the victim of a scam that required personal information.

Officers took a report of a shoplifting that occurred on Harvard St.

Saturday, July 8

BIKE THEFT

Officers were called to Pond Ave for a report, where a witness shared they watched an individual switch out their bike with one from a bike rack. Force was used, as the stolen bike had a lock. The suspect left the old bike behind.

LARCENY

Officered were called to Washington St. for a report, where the reporting party, a security guard at the commercial building, explained that a regular customer had stolen a large fan that generally sits outside the store. No products were stolen.

BURGLARY

Officers responded to a call on Sewall Ave., where the reporting party shared that several of their items had been taken from the communal garage and storage area of their apartment complex.

ANIMAL BITE

Officers took a report of a dog bite that occurred on Orchard Rd.

SCAM

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they had been scammed while attempting to purchase an item through Facebook.

SHOPLIFTING

Officers took a report of a shoplifting that occurred on Harvard St.

Sunday, July 9

ASSAULT

Officers took a report of an assault that occurred on Boylston St. Both parties were acting aggressive, though no weapons were used.
